Weekly Oracle – You Have To Keep Listening

Last week’s oracle never made it to being published on the site. The cards were selected, the subject matter considered at length… and then life got in the way. What I can tell you is that the royal blue throat chakra that appears in this week’s combination was the focus of last week’s cards too. Obviously it has something important you need to hear… and that’s kind of the point: you have to keep listening.

The appearance of the throat chakra in The Sacred Chalice Oracle represents self-expression, communication in all its forms and the ability to transmit truth between beings. Whether that communication is written, spoken, gestured or symbolized is irrelevant and the quality of the message being shared is the blessing that requires attention.

When we pair this powerful energy centre with Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted, there is an emphasis on the free-flowing nature of unobstructed heart-centred communication and in particular your ability to receive it in the context with which it was intended.

We put limitations on what we are willing to hear, how we are willing to hear it and how we interpret the essence of the message, always based our level of understanding (which falls under the remit of another Grail Principle but they often work in unison with each other hence the beauty and complexity of The Wholly Grail). It is our ability to fully receive what is being offered to us as a gift to aid our own growth and understanding that forms the basis of the incoming energy this week. Can you listen without prejudice to the heart of another?

Principle 7 asks us to give and receive in equal measure so it’s worth noting that if you want to be heard, you first must listen. Listening to what another is trying to communicate, often in the only way they know how, or the only way they feel they can at present is a gift you can offer them and yourself… you do not have to react, respond or take any of what is expressed personally, (the essence of last week’s missing oracle combination in fact), instead seek only to understand and allow for connection to grow.

It is my belief that trust is built on open two-way communication so you have to keep listening. Use this week to reassure loved one’s that you still are, no matter how hard the message that’s trying to get through.

More later… x
