Most of what you see before you today is a product of what you were thinking yesterday. The past has a powerful grip on your current state of being because it is in evidence all around you.

Have you reached a point in your life where you feel you can no longer continue along the same lines as before? Coming to deeply understand that the balance in your situation is heavily stacked towards apparent obligation rather than towards living, loving, giving, feeling, being free, is a  key moment in your timeline at which point you have the opportunity to switch from living life unconsciously to becoming wide awake, and now all you have to do ask “why?” Why do I do that? Is it because it’s what I’ve always done? Is it because someone told me I had to? Is it simply that I haven’t yet imagined a new way to be yet?

Personal history can be your greatest teacher or you can be its prisoner but the choice is entirely yours. If you can stop for just 5 minutes today and think: ” What would I be doing now if I had a choice and there were no limitations to my experience?” Whatever comes to mind, trawl for truth… truth feels right, it doesn’t jar against your emotional centre, it brings a smile, a feeling of joy from your inner core. Sit with this vision of your truth for just a few minutes, write it down, find a picture or representation of it and begin to grow the image in your mind and in your journal or on a dream board over time…

Once this image of what you really would like to do, be, feel and have has solidified in your mind and you can easily see it each day, go back to the question about your current state: “why?”

One subtle change today can be the inaugural step towards a different reality for tomorrow… make a change.
