Modus Operandi Part 2 – Have You Wandered Off?

Continuing a theme from the other day, I thought we might once again explore our Modus Operandi, our method of operating in the world, asking this time: “have you wandered off?”

When studying the seven Principles of The Wholly Grail, believing ourselves to be fully embracing and honouring them, we often find that what we imagine ourselves to be doing and what we are actually doing are two different things…

I’m currently a good case and point. Presently succumbed to a minor bout of adrenal fatigue due to prolonged stress that I didn’t keep in check. I say minor because luckily I recognised the signs and took steps (Principle 6: I AM Self-Full) to detach from my stressors and to self-heal through rest, meditation, and bringing my full focus back to the present moment… I had wandered off into the future and stayed there too long, a place with no substance and certainly no sustenance.

Principle 2: I AM Detached gives us an instruction to remain present. Now, whilst we are attempting to manifest something into our lives we must point our attention to an imagined future and often make plans or take steps in the present to move in that direction, but if you are constantly pulled to what is promised or equally as detrimental: what has already gone, then we create stress, anxiety and worry energy that depletes the adrenal energy and forms an unsolvable conundrum within the forebrain, a problem that cannot be reconciled and therefore becomes a loop that brings us back to the same question over and over.

In order to fully embrace Principle 2, you have to jolt yourself loose from the infinite possibilities that only time and God can resolve, which is not always easy when loved ones and those with whom you have a shared vision constantly draw your attention to the potential in an effort to build excitement… excitement and suspense are both indicators that you are once again being pulled forward… and so starts the feedback loop again… compounding yet more stress. There will always be those who help to fuel your drama for their own ends.

Personally, I work a bit like a pressure cooker, every so often under these circumstances I will “blow off steam,” usually right before stress makes me ill. This tendency towards becoming a stress head was what led me to define the Grail in the first place.

So then, what’s your Modus Operandi? Have you wandered off too far into the shadow world of tomorrows or yesterdays?

You can use “I AM Detached” as an affirmation to help bring you back to the present moment, but it’s worth monitoring for a little while, maybe a day, where your mind wanders off to when you aren’t paying attention… that’s where all your energy is leaking and your Grail cup is spilling its precious life affirming contents.

Saturday Oracle – Free Your Mind From Worry

Worry is the single most useless type of thought process you can apply your mind to, and yet it is also a fairly universal preference. I say preference because we have a choice, and if we have a choice and still choose worry then surely it’s because we prefer it? Isn’t it time to free your mind?

This week’s combination includes Principle 5: I AM Liberated, the affirmation of letting yourself out of a prison born of matter with the highly spiritual violet crown chakra. These two are are a prescription for remedial action where worry is concerned.

So the potential for the week ahead then is finding yourself being drawn into negative thought patterns and false beliefs about something or someone, that have been keeping you locked into your current set of circumstances and unable to move forward. It’s important to get to grips with the fact that neither the object nor the individual have any power over you, it is your thoughts about the subject that control your action or inaction.

Interrupting the worry habit is key to rectifying the detrimental effects on your physical and emotional life and there are a few ways you can do that… this particular combination is recommending meditation as an antidote, distraction is another that simply takes you filling idle time where your mind has too much opportunity to wander back to the familiar, with concentrated effort or new learning.

Worry is usually about loss of some kind, whether that be loss of material attachments, loss of status, loss of comfort, loss of tribal bonds and relationships, loss of reputation, loss of health and finally loss of life. Worry won’t fix any of those things and that’s why finding perspective through witnessing your life from a higher platform during meditation can help you firstly release your mental and emotional grip on whatever recurring thought has you held prisoner, and secondly will allow your higher self to switch you to solution based deliberation.

You may not actually be in danger of losing the object of your apparent distress at all and in that case the energy you expend fretting about it may be causing issues of its own.

All 7 Wholly Grail Principles are free to view on my website for a better understanding of how this philosophy works to find peace and freedom in your own life.

This Great Game

Everything you are worrying about right now is an option and the current options available to you are thus: there’s the easy way and there’s the hard way. These two options and these two options only are what go entirely towards making up what we term free will. There is a much greater plan at work here, and if you understand that you also understand that it means that all the chess pieces are destined to be at a certain position at a certain time by divine decree.

Whether you are a king, a queen, a pawn or a knight, you have a role to play in this great game and the way you play your role determines the depth and intensity of the game… but you’ll get where you’re going one way or another.

Worrying about which direction to choose is simply you choosing the hard way, the less enjoyable way. It’s a massive drain on your energy and even if you do get round to making a decision, the worry has robbed you of some of the joy of advancing across the board and then the best you can hope for is relief… though relief isn’t unpleasant, it isn’t exactly the ecstasy you were hoping for either, is it.

I want to liken this feeling to the teenagers out there undertaking their exams around now. Remember back to when you took yours and ask yourself how many times you’ve used that particular information and whether you would be living a different existence now if you had failed? We put too much pressure on ourselves to get it right. Too much pressure on each other for that matter.

You’re going where you’re going and it doesn’t matter how you get there. Just for today, as an experiment, give it up to God and the angels to deal with the details… stick the whole situation in your “Too Difficult” bucket and surrender to the flow. Let spirit choose your next move on life’s chessboard.

Principle 2: I AM Detached.
