Understanding Your Motives – In It For The Long Game

There is an energy at present that centres around the culmination of a lot of years of focus. The potential now is so intense that whatever happens next is either the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end – make or break so to speak. That kind of intensity though can cloud judgment, force reactive behaviour and in some cases cause you to run towards an outcome or even away from it depending on your dominant archetypal energy.

Whatever this main focus of attention is, you can bet that all the other aspects of day to day life have taken a back seat and that imbalance is already occurring. (If you’re a member, I will be addressing this imbalance in the Seeker’s section this week. You can join for FREE here).

Here though, I would instead like to concentrate on one potential stressful factor that could become the trigger for one of those reactive behaviours: Have you forgotten why?

Understanding your motives for any action is the purest way to ensure you meet the challenge in a ‘success focused’ way.

Let’s take a new relationship as an example. Whether it be a romantic relationship or a business partnership or any other meeting of minds and hearts, it takes two parties to have the same agenda in order to bring about the desired outcome. Factor in free will, personal schedules, historical baggage, poor communication or misunderstandings and the whole process takes much longer.

Now baring in mind that we are feeling the universal flow bringing things to a pinnacle, all these trifles will no doubt be raising cortisol levels and pushing all the internal fear buttons… so now remember: “Why?”

You’re in it for the long game.

You’re not trying to get somewhere, this IS the relationship. It’s not where it is going but it is where it is, it is what it is, and what it is is growing… a work in progress, a masterpiece of manifestation. Look how far you’ve come.

The momentary surge of ‘now or never’ is just an illusion of time. The time is indeed right for this next step but this next step is simply another step in the story, beautiful now and heading towards many more beautiful things.

Be assured that what you feel under all the uncertainty, the reason you began this quest, that bit is real; the fear, the stress and the urgency are symptoms of insecurity that arise when your “what?” becomes the focus instead of your “why?”

Patience combined with the absolute clarity of the vision that began this journey will carry you through the next few days… and then the next part of the adventure will commence… it has been promised.

Do Something About It

Shaking the proverbial cup causes its contents to swirl about and even splash over the rim, whereas kicking it over obviously would cause its precious elixir to spill out all over and evaporate before your eyes. Sudden shock, unsavoury surprise or trauma is the equivalent of giving the Grail a good kick and in essence prolonged low level worry and fearful thought is tantamount to shaking the cup.

Both are detrimental to mind, body and spirit.

Only when you translate what the actual contents equate to can you begin to understand what is being allowed to escape from your everyday experience… This sacred vessel is a container for peace, for joy, abundance, happiness and for health.

Stress, worry, fear and prolonged negativity are all thieves of those precious qualities that make the journey easy and enjoyable. Health is the final gift to be stolen from the cup. When this occurs it becomes evident just how long you have been shaking the Grail or how hard you kicked it, and with the exception of fated experience (challenges destined for you to overcome), ill health is a sign that you have for too long being ignoring how many of the other sacred contents have been missing from your life.

Principle 6: I AM Self-Full is the first step in the journey back to health, joy, happiness and abundance, and it’s a step you can take today no matter where you are on the path and what the condition of The Wholly Grail. Turn that cup back the right way up and begin to fill it for yourself… not with more worry about the state you may or may not be in but with gratitude that you are still here to do something about it. Start small: bubble bath; healthy, delicious and nutritious food; gentle exercise; hydration; fresh air; meditation and prayer and proper rest… non of that is radical but it’s all essential.

Now off you go and enjoy Halloween… try not to put more strain on that nervous system by scaring yourself stupid though.

The Lifeboat

Grail Oracle 5Grail Oracle Red

This week’s free Intuitive Chalice Oracle combines Principle 5 of The Wholly Grail: I AM Liberated with the blood red energy of the base or root chakra and it looks set to be a make or break week in one fashion or another…

When Principle 5 makes an appearance it shows that we have become slaves to the things we worked so hard for, mix that with the base chakra and not only do we confirm the material nature of those things and the, perhaps false sense of security they provide, but also that the building pressure is causing real physical harm and maybe even illness.

The ship is sinking under the mountain of stuff… financial pressures, obligations, property, and even people that rely on you and though you may be attempting to bailout as fast as you can, one man, one bucket and an entire ocean liner doesn’t quite add up to smooth sailing.

The problem we see here is that you are looking in the wrong places to fix the problem… bringing in more stuff to supplement the bailout. In real terms this looks like working harder, hiring in more help, taking on more projects to increase revenue etc but that just compounds the issue and increases the load on an already overtaxed vessel… in this case you.

You can save yourself or you can try in vain to save the ship and effectively go down with it… saving yourself means adopting an attitude, NOT of “We’re gonna need a bigger boat,” but instead “We’re gonna need a smaller one.”

Apparently a captain always goes down with his ship… what a bloody numpty! Live to sail another day by taking only what you need and jumping in “The Lifeboat” unless of course the lifeboat was taking up valuable cargo space on the ship and in trying to save your whole overwhelming existence it became the very first casualty???

You are being faced with the very real opportunity to put your life back in balance this week… don’t blow it by opting for more stress and by the same token ensuring your personal prison becomes inescapable. Time for a full scale de-clutter of you priorities.

More next week… x
