The Celestial Mapmaker

What gives you passion gives you purpose. Without purpose you will find yourself like a rudderless ship drifting on an endless sea.

Before GPS was invented and satellites were thrust up into orbit amongst the rest of the space junk that we’ve managed to lay to waste in heaven’s, we navigated by the stars. Those of us who still believe in destiny, that our lives are literally mapped out by those same celestial bodies, are navigating the seas of personal realisation just as those sailors once navigated the globe.

Being one of those believers, I’m almost certain that something much bigger than I, something with a plan I don’t have full access to, wrote amongst those stars a combination or constellation so powerful in its magnetic pull that I would have no choice but to follow the breadcrumbs laid out for me towards a convergence that only It could possibly predict.

Why else would the synchronicities I have stumbled upon have led me to this point?

God, Source, Allah, The Tao… whatever you choose to call The Celestial Mapmaker, seems to have a failsafe when it comes to this unfolding: when you’re off course, off mission, off purpose even, and the synchronicities are ignored in your attempt to assert your presumption of free will, your passion wanes. Basically put: if it’s not written in the stars you can’t get excited about it.

This is the same premise that attracts us to a mate. If you are incompatible or not meant to interact then there is no spark… Now don’t get me wrong here, passion can be positive or negative… you can dislike someone with a passion too, but in order for there to be an impact there has to be an attraction… The Law of Attraction! The moon has a magnetic pull that moves the oceans creating waves of passion that swell and recede… the ocean cannot react otherwise… it’s a failsafe written in the stars… The moon will rise, the oceans will heave. It’s all very romantic but it has a point:

The point being that if your not passionate about something then you’re off mission. That’s not to say that every detail will inspire you but your every action will lead you towards an outcome that if you only knew how miraculous it could be, if you had just enough faith and trust to lean into the fear of the unknown and surrender to the greater plan, the rewards could be beyond your wildest dreams.

You may not have access to the big picture in your human form but you have to understand that when you embrace all that you are: The Celestial Mapmaker is you. It was written in the stars because you put it there, and that passion you feel is a spark of The Divine within you remembering the time before time when The Mind of God drew the map and The Hand of God fashioned the heavens.

Principle 1: I AM God

Principle 2: I AM Detached

Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted

A Festival of Freedom – When Passion Returns

It’s easy to lose sight of the path when you get lost in the details.

After hitting a brick wall career-wise about 4 years ago and not really knowing which direction I wanted to go in, I set about analysing what caused me to crash into that wall in the first place. It was simple: I was so focused on the details of what I needed to achieve that I forgot what I loved doing and why I started doing it to begin with.

I stepped out of a personal and professional prison in 2008 to build myself a new one in 2009 until I unlocked the door and let myself out less than a year later and began to soar… then came the opportunity to expand and in the process I built myself yet another set of metaphorical walls that I did somersaults to maintain until the back end of 2012 when it almost broke me… 6 months after defining The Wholly Grail, my cup was empty and I knew it.

The process of stripping away the tendency to build walls has not been an easy one because along with it came the fear of building anything at all, so instead I subconsciously devised a little Cha cha cha that took me one step forward, two steps back, to the side, together, other side, together… begin again. My ego doing battle with my soul until I understood what it was I was truly trying to create… A Festival of Freedom!

I say a festival because what I truly want is to feel joyous, abundant, healthy, happy, fulfilled every single day. Life is supposed to be fun! But I was caught up in the details and what I needed to do to achieve them.

Today, I’m inspired by what happens when passion returns. What can be achieved when you embrace your true loves and inspirations, the things that make your soul sing. They never left, they were simply buried under a mountain of details and when you remember your gifts are deeply connected to your passions you come alive and the universe shows you the path again… the one without walls.

Four years of self-healing using the Grail makes me an expert and as an expert, I know how fragile it can be without vigilance and due diligence. Principle 2: I AM Detached is the way through the details and Principle 5: I AM Liberated dismantles the prisons. It’s my least mentioned Principle in written form because it’s my own greatest healing journey.

Due diligence means doing the work… if you would like to journey into Self and set yourself free with guidance from the expert then check out The Path of Petals training course here or book a Grail Consultation here.

Passionately yours

Rises and Falls Like The Goddess

Desire is a powerful motivator for change and change is a powerful motivator for creativity.

There’s been a commercial on tv lately for a leading brand of washing up liquid or detergent if you like, in this commercial the little boy tells his dad that he wants the bottle to make a spaceship… ok now this brand has been around for too many years to mention and those of you brits that are old enough to remember Blue Peter (a kid’s magazine programme on the BBC circa 1960- 1990, but don’t quote me on that as its an estimate), will also remember “… and here’s one I made earlier” turning just such a detergent bottle into just such a spaceship. I remember an incident where my brother and I needed said-same squeezy bottle as a weapon of mass destruction (ok a water pistol) for a game we’d invented back when kids played out on the street instead of sitting zombie fashion in front of the game console… now the thing is, at that time my mum, who looking back, was an extremely tolerant and accommodating parent, emptied the entire contents of green soapy slime out of bottle and into a jug so that the game could commence, unlike tv dad who makes the poor kid wait weeks until it’s empty.

Why is any of this important? Creativity rises and falls like the goddess. Today being a full moon for example is a time when what has been started must be brought to fullness as beyond this point energies begin to wane.

When a child has a creative idea or anyone else for that matter, if you don’t ride the wave of that creative impulse it will subside and the moment will be lost. Having said all that, desire can create a flame that burns so hot that you fail to take consequences into account… You act without thinking, speak without thinking, commit to an outcome without understanding the true path that you are taking, but if you leave it too long not only does the desire and the impulse leave you but so too does the urgency, the creativity and the energy when overthinking allows you to second guess that passion that lit the spark… fear steps in and the moment is gone forever… the squeezy bottle holds the green slime for what seems like an eternity and eventually heads for the recycle bin never to become a spaceship, blast off never occurs and in fact the child forgets that he ever wanted to build a spaceship in the first place… that kid could have been the next astronaut but now he’s heading for accountancy… not that there’s anything wrong with accountancy you understand but how many astronauts are there?

Being Open-Hearted is a skill that requires you to surf the energy flowing through the universe to you, through you and from you, when you put a halt on a desire, when you allow logic to hold back your creative impulses you place obstacles and blockages in the way of that flow, not just for your well-being but for everyone else’s as well. After all, we’re all riding the same wave.

Nurture your desires, fan the flames into passion wherein lies your destiny and the potential to change the world!
