Refocus On Terminated Timelines – How About Now?

Although I only managed an abridged oracle reading on Facebook this week due to the turbulent transfer of the website to a new permanent home, (it’s now arrived safely), if you’ve been keeping up you may have noticed it was very much about checking in with your internal compass.

This has been playing out for me over the last few days in a mentally exhausting trip down memory lane to a series of terminated timelines. By terminated timelines I mean things like abandoned projects, ideas, goals and even friendships and relationships that seemed to fall by the wayside as life shifted to and fro.

I haven’t been on a self-absorbed reminiscent mission or anything, in fact I’ve been consciously present with whatever I’m doing (mainly to get through the list and displace the overwhelm), but at the most random of moments an idea will pop in my head that is an idea that I benched years ago.

The universe seems to be saying “How about now?”

We often think of terminated timelines as failures, things that didn’t work, but I’m currently considering the the whole concept of Divine Will and Timing. What if those old hopes and dreams, ideas and inspirations weren’t failures? What if they were just in cold storage until Source deemed the time to be right?

While my particular compass is spinning back and forth through this week and I’m doing only what’s required of me with as much grace as is humanly possible, (except for my tai chi/qi gong lesson last night where I was decidedly aggressive and grace had nothing to do with it, leaving us all in fits of hysterics), I’m not in a state of trying to conceive anything new right now, rather to fulfil and complete what’s already present… clearing the decks so to speak. I’m aware of the herald of new energy arriving and the angels are showing me omens of that energy catching me up from the past. Something that wouldn’t have worked back then is shortly to present itself as an option now.

But there’s a problem with that… I’m a contrary little shit when it comes to being managed (see Monday’s insight), even if I’m being managed by God! My initial reaction to the thought of anyone or anything saying “not then but now” instantly created a rise of defiance in me: “well what if it’s not convenient for me right now?” “What if I don’t want it?” (At this point my less childish higher self is shaking her head in despair uttering “can’t you see God is attempting to deliver you a gift?”

So, having noticed the incoming energy and omens, having mentally exhausted myself trying to pin down the exact nature of the message whilst completing a gruelling schedule, having given my ego a good talking to about gratitude and acceptance, having kicked the shit out of some imaginary foe in what’s supposed to be a peaceful exercise, and having returned to the Grail for peace as is its purpose here’s what I found….

Principle 1: I AM God, so if He’s holding up the past as a new option then actually so am I.

Principle 2: I AM Detached, so if I let go of control over how and when whatever it is shows up I will not destroy today with mental exhaustion about tomorrow.

Principle 3: I AM Human, so I forgive myself for the temporary defiance and learn to laugh at my ego’s belief it has any power over Principle 1.

Principle 4: I AM Truth, so anyone’s opinions (including my own) about where I’ve been and what’s gone before has no bearing on who I am and where I am today.

Principle 5: I AM Liberated, so I will not allow my fear of losing what is, to inhibit my allowing what might be.

Principle 6: I AM Self-Full, so I choose to nurture my own well-being through any turbulence and change.

and finally…

Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted, so I have the capacity to allow the universe to bestow abundance in any form upon me and let it flow as it will… to, through and from me.

Now I’m ready to see how the story ends.

Take Care of The Scary Bits

So much has changed. Where you were a year ago is so very different from where you are now even if the geographical location is the same… life isn’t static, every choice you make dredges up a whole new raft of circumstances and inevitably even more choices to the point where nothing of the old life remains except as a memory.

All that being said, now is a good time for re-evaluation. You had a goal and recently I spoke of that goal being brought back to the forefront of your mind in order that you might take another crack at it… but is it still appropriate?

Perhaps the destination is but you are so far off the beaten track that another route would be preferable? A bit like when you take a wrong turn and your sat nav recalculates, sometimes it guides you back to the original route plan and sometimes it aborts that one and finds another. You have to decide on that now… but which is it to be?

A true Grail Knight has to weigh up the pros and cons of the journey to be undertaken, but here’s the thing: trajectory is calculated from where you’ve been not where you’re going, simply because we have no real idea what the future holds. This is where history plays its part and the only legitimate time that you can wander outside of the present without allowing yourself to become entangled in a place you don’t belong anymore… the past. It holds the key to unlock the door to your future, but how?

Looking back objectively you can discern patterns of success and of failure, joy and pain and you can also see what skills, talents and Principles you applied (or failed to apply) in each case. More importantly you can see where your decisions were fuelled by love or by fear. Using this strategy you then create a journey planner towards the intended outcome including the most soul enhancing choices and leaving room for divine intervention every step of the way.

My new life direction was chosen by applying love to areas where I had previously allowed fear to dictate my course and by letting God take care of the scary bits. It’s become a proper adventure!

Wishing you a day of life affirming journey planning, may it be guided always by love.

Trawl For Truth

Most of what you see before you today is a product of what you were thinking yesterday. The past has a powerful grip on your current state of being because it is in evidence all around you.

Have you reached a point in your life where you feel you can no longer continue along the same lines as before? Coming to deeply understand that the balance in your situation is heavily stacked towards apparent obligation rather than towards living, loving, giving, feeling, being free, is a ¬†key moment in your timeline at which point you have the opportunity to switch from living life unconsciously to becoming wide awake, and now all you have to do ask “why?” Why do I do that? Is it because it’s what I’ve always done? Is it because someone told me I had to? Is it simply that I haven’t yet imagined a new way to be yet?

Personal history can be your greatest teacher or you can be its prisoner but the choice is entirely yours. If you can stop for just 5 minutes today and think: ” What would I be doing now if I had a choice and there were no limitations to my experience?” Whatever comes to mind, trawl for truth… truth feels right, it doesn’t jar against your emotional centre, it brings a smile, a feeling of joy from your inner core. Sit with this vision of your truth for just a few minutes, write it down, find a picture or representation of it and begin to grow the image in your mind and in your journal or on a dream board over time…

Once this image of what you really would like to do, be, feel and have has solidified in your mind and you can easily see it each day, go back to the question about your current state: “why?”

One subtle change today can be the inaugural step towards a different reality for tomorrow… make a change.
