How To Glide Through A Frequency Upgrade

I’m sure that, if you are living a spiritually based life, you have heard mention of raising your vibration or frequency and that doing so will initiate changes in your everyday life. But generally, what do we really understand what those changes entail and how to glide through a frequency upgrade?

Recently I have had so many personal shifts in frequency, some planned, some forced upon me by the universe’s perverse sense of irony, that I have had to become an expert in unconditional acceptance of what is. That’s not to say that I have become defeatist in any way or settled for less than I’m worth, actually quite the opposite…

Fully integrating the Grail teachings means that I have accepted that some things are not meant to be part of my life. Some things and some people are no longer compatible with my new understanding of what is best for me. I’ve accepted that I don’t have to accept certain things, and that I absolutely can expect more for myself and from others that I associate with. That being said, not everyone wants to upgrade at the same speed or the same level. Many would prefer that I keep being a pushover and keep tolerating disrespectful behaviour, keep allowing my boundaries to be crossed and my energy siphoned off for their own ends. It’s these people that I have accepted are no longer my people.

When you are ready to understand how to glide through a frequency upgrade, you are going to start feeling like you want to scream every time you become acutely aware that something is out of alignment with your own inner peace. At these times you have a decision to make: you can either rail against the discrepancy (which incidentally allows your frequency to diminish through kicking off at the unfairness of it all and the down right disrespect for your needs), or you can remain humble, respectful and compassionate but choose to either address the issue calmly or distance yourself from the misaligned person, situation (or item) if they are unapproachable or non-compliant.

There are 4 components to the Grail that will show you how to glide through a frequency upgrade:

  • Principle 1 is your touchstone to your own self-worth and what you believe you deserve.
  • Principle 2 holds you in the present moment, letting go of all past history and future illusion that pulls you from your peace.
  • Principle 5 allows you to understand freedom from constraint means letting go of what holds you captive.
  • Principle 7 embraces all in unconditional reciprocity and balance.

You are worthy of the highest expression of your own life’s potential in this moment and to receive the reflection of that from your environment, loved ones, peers and friends. You must be prepared to lose what is less than what you hope to gain.

Let go of the unworthy and the incompatible to create space for the harmonious.

If you want to know the simplest explantion of how to glide through a frequency upgrade… don’t cling to what doesn’t serve you in the hope that it will change, but do keep your heart open as you continue on your way then if it, or they, experience an vibrational upgrade of their own, you can welcome back into the harmonious, compassionate fold without need for recourse.

How To Handle The Downside Of Upleveling

I have to admit I really don’t this term that has become the watchword for raising your game and your vibration. What I’ve discovered I like even less are the potential pitfalls of the process, so here’s how to handle the downside of upleveling…

Growth happens in fits and starts in most forms of life, it is cyclical. That means that there is a stage of discomfort followed by a death of what was, a recovery phase that morphs into a growth spurt and eventually an adaptation stage which allows you to get used to and comfortable with the new level of living.

This cyclical pattern is recognisable in all forms of nature but we as human beings are really bad at consciously recognising which stage we are in or indeed honouring it as a natural part of our own evolution. We rebel against the discomfort of stagnation, we rebel against the letting go (Principle 5) required for death of the old to occur, we rebel against growth favouring what was comfortable and we rebel against the concept of acceptance (Principle 7), at least at first. This rebellion is based around the desire to control the uncontrollable (Principle 2) and the need to find meaning in chaos.

Here’s is how my guides explained it to me in order that I could get with the programme and navigate the excruciating parts of personal transformation:

You want change. We know you do because you have asked for so much, longed for so many new and expansive experiences. We want that for you too, but in order to be more, you must let go of the known and shed the skin of who you once were. You must effectively die to the old self in order to allow a new version of you to be born. You cannot live in the confines of self-imposed restriction with your wings pinned and fly among the high one’s at the same time.

In basic terms if you want to meet people, you have to go where the people are, if you want to learn new things you have to admit you don’t know them… discomfort is the natural predecessor of change and so your comfort zone is going to have to be exited.

If you want to know how to handle the downside of upleveling then you have to get comfortable with your own discomfort. you have to have your eye on your target and understand that the space between where you are and where it exists is an unknown quantity, so you are going to have to get brave, really brave! You are going to have show the universe that the thing you want, the state of being you desire, is worth the risk of feeling like you are out there on a limb, walking a path that may present as if nobody has every walked it before. You are going to have to accept that those you have walked beside might not want to come with you and so you are going to have to dig deep into your well of self-sufficiency to use solitude as a powerhouse for inspiration so that you don’t give into the loneliness of the narrow path ahead. And you are going to have to commit, I mean really commit to moving through the darkness with only your own light to lead the way.

The last stage of the journey is adaptation. This comes when we accept that there is no way back to the place where you began. You don’t belong there any more so you may as well make the most of this new place, this new level of evolvement. It begins with acceptance that nothing is ever going to be the same… and there it is, the key concept in how to handle the downside of upleveling is: acceptance.

Given time, you won’t even remember what all the fuss was about. This new you will eventually become the new normal… and then you’re going to start the process again.

December’s Oracle – Ta-Da!

December’s Oracle – Ta-Da! Yes, The Sacred Chalice showed up to signal the arrival of something huge. No, I’m not talking about Christmas, I’m talking about a major turning point in life where it seems as if all roads were leading to this singular point.

Admittedly, The Sacred Chalice can be equally as challenging as it is miraculous and fortune could swing either way at this point, but what it does gurantee is change.

Change may arrive in the form of positive news, an opportunity, or invitation, but could just as easily denote illness or loss. Sometimes the biggest most exciting opportunity requires that you give something else up and so it holds both blessings and burdens in it’s grasp.

For me personally, when I pull this card I know that whatever the short term disruption may bring, the long term pay off is enormous and immeasurable, so I give thanks whenever I see it.

What I would like you to be vigilant about at this time is how you are processing the changes that are occuring around you. Even the happiest of occasions can create a disturbance in your health and energy field that need time to settle and ground. Two angels I like to call upon during times of chaos and upheaval are Archangel Haniel and Archange Uriel.

Haniel is the Angel of Grace and helps you to remain composed under pressure. Uriel, whose name means the Light of God helps me to stabilise my inner “pilot light” and keeps my physiological resources firing at a steady rate so I don’t hit burn out in the process.

Whatever exciting changes crop up for you this week, try to maintain some routine and pay close attention to how Self-Full you are being: rest well, hydrate, eat a nutritious diet and make time to both exercise and meditate. My best friend through all the changes I’ve negotiated over the years has been my journal. It helps me to process how I’m feeling, what I’m thinking and also to monitor the tone and texture of my mindset, allowing me to adjust the sails in a more positive direction if I begin to lose myself in all the mess.

As The Sacred Chalice is the only card in the Intuitive Chalice that is not accompanied by a chakra/challenge card, the exact nature of your Ta-Da! moment is impossible for me to predict and will no doubt touch multiple layers of your life. It is an indication that The Grail is present, only you can know whether the Grail is overflowing in your life or has been spilled over and emptied…

One thing is for sure, the nature of the universe is that all states serve and we must experience both in balance in order to fully know what it is to live and love.

I’m praying your December’s Oracle – Ta-Da! moment is the biggest blessing of the decade.

When The Going Gets Tough

So I have Billy Ocean’s 1980’s tune circling around my head just thinking about this title and no doubt I will be singing it for the rest of the day, but the context is slightly misplaced as concept for this insight. You see, when the going gets tough, the tough actually hunker down and ride out the uncertainty… they don’t jump ship or get going.

Uncertainty has been a theme for me for a while now. External circumstances have been disrupted outside of my control, but my usual stress-head reactions to adversity didn’t kick in this time and instead were replaced with a familiar old friend and alter ego: the manager (crisis manager to be accurate).

I’ve been forced to reconnect with an aspect of self that knows how to think fast and find creative solutions to shifting parameters but there has also been an evolution in this archetypal energy, a bit like growing up. Whereas once the stress response of fight or flight would have fuelled the quick thinking, problem solving, superwoman, she has hung up her cape and rolled up her sleeves and just placed one foot in front of the other trusting the path to meet her and trusting the decisions she has to make.

One of The Wholly Grail mechanics states “you cannot keep the Grail.” It pays respect to the flip of the yin/yang in the dance of the universe and that life can change in an instant… some call it fate, without this dynamic, life stagnates and so to keep you moving forward, growing and expanding, life throws in the odd plot twist to keep it interesting… after all, no adventure story would be worth reading if we took out the adventure part!

My old paradigm had me rising to the challenge of controlling the crash landing in an adrenalin-fuelled frenzy that required lots of self-applause after the fact for how well I managed, the new evolved me has just let go of the outcome (Principle 2: I AM Detached) knowing that the outcome is inevitable and the timing is up to the Divine. (Though I have to admit, there are other areas of my life where I’m still seeking that clarity).

When you know there is only one outcome and your only job is to decide whether you want to get there the easy way or the hard way, (this choice does first require the need for acceptance though), letting go of the struggle is the simplest option and your Grail is returned immediately. It’s called surrender.

When the going gets tough, the tough surrender. Peace comes from that place. From that place, whatever plot twists, shocks and spills come your way, you have the power to keep going, to survive and to thrive… and when peace returns you to your Garden of Eden, there’s no need for a round of self-applause, just look up (symbolically) and say “Thank you.”

May you find peace in all your plot twists…

Weekly Oracle – At Peace With Progress

Being at peace with progress is the central theme of this week’s Intuitive Chalice Oracle combination, as Principle 2: I AM Detached, joins forces with the blood red base chakra which has appeared for us again this week. Whereas last week the arrival of this chakra had us focusing on health issues (I didn’t come out of it unscathed having had minor surgery on a dodgy elbow midweek), this week is more focused on our material wellbeing and security…

For some time now you may have been aware on a subconscious level of an incoming change. Transformation, even when positive, brings a certain amount of upheaval to your life and you have worked hard to release emotional attachments to anything that might hold back any necessary movement from one way of life to another.

All of us, regardless of how conscientious, create ties and strings as we go through life. They may take the form of family, friendships, partnerships, contracts, jobs, salaries, possessions, property, etc, all of which have us forming roots of a sort that keep us bound but also keep us feeling safe, secure and give us a sense of belonging, which is in many cases necessary for our well-being and for us to thrive. Before you can grow or transform your circumstances you must loosen your grip on some or all of these things to allow a new set of ties and strings to take hold. It doesn’t mean you don’t love and appreciate what you have, it is simply that you acknowledge change as being inevitable and to some extent you understand that the soul’s journey is far more valuable than any anchor that may hold it back… if you fight change you begin to wither in the bud.

Let’s say for instance that you are a home-body, (I always have been), the kind of person who does like to explore but always feels relief when returning to the place you grew up, the place you still call home. This is where your roots are. Now imagine you meet your soulmate and after many years of living and working apart there’s a feeling that the time might be right to join your lives together and potentially commit to a united future. Now imagine that your soulmate is a proverbial nomad, currently living abroad, their work has them constantly on the move, and living in your neck of the woods for any more than a fleeting visit would be near impossible… one of you will have to give up the lifestyle you have… even if you don’t particularly aspire to the other’s way of life, because love and connection and union is far more important than an address.

The week’s energies suggest that you had got yourself, at least emotionally, into a place where you were willing to let go of all that you have and all that you know, (your security and safety), to take a mammoth leap into uncertainty to follow your soul’s calling, but that now something, someone perhaps, has highlighted just how unstable that choice is and your worry has elevated to a point where all bets are off.

Principle 2 demands that you stay present in the moment where all your power is. The power you gathered has now been spread to the four winds and your grip on what is known has tightened because the one thing that felt secure about letting go has been sullied somehow. (In the above scenario maybe the connection between you and your soulmate is being tested by insecurity, (theirs and yours), or a miscommunication of some kind.

This maybe a week where you feel like you are back to square one and any and all progress you made up to this point has been lost… that isn’t so, you are experiencing a temporary set back, a restriction of movement that will in fact enable a smoother transition later on. The key is to keep your eye on the intended outcome whilst remaining focused on what is, and keep lines of communication open in order to learn more about the true nature of the complication from all angles.

It will soon be safe to let go and you can one again be at peace with progress.

A Stranger In A Strange Land

I’ve been absent from posting updates and insights for a couple of weeks due to a distinct lack of internet facilities during my house moving escapades. Though I’ve moved less than a couple of miles up the road I have to admit I’m currently feeling like a stranger in a strange land. Every noise is unfamiliar and the things I once took comfort in and was inspired and healed by, like the hundreds of birds in my old creaky elder tree at the top of my garden, are now absent from my days.

I’m finding joy in new things now… the view from my bedroom window which looks for miles towards giant wind turbines in the fields and fascinates me for a few minutes each morning, the murder of crows that welcomed me to the house when I first came to view it (as if Odin himself showed me the way). It’s not pretty, not by any sense of the word, but inside hides a little gem that has everything I need and a comfy place to create something new.

When working with The Wholly Grail Principles for any length of time, you recognise the first step on the road to joy is acceptance, followed closely by gratitude. The process from where you are to where you want to be often encompasses letting go, embracing loss and subsequently experiencing grief, but the key is to remember that all in this life is temporary and the less tightly you hold on the more you flow from one vision to the next… hopefully leaving a trail of magic behind you as you go.

Magic is present in abundance in my new home (now), simply because I carry it with me. The Grail is me and the magic is the Grace of pure Source energy that fills me as I allow it to flow through me.

Change is constant. Allow your life to flow with magic by embracing it, accepting it and being grateful for the new opportunities it brings.

EquinoX Marks The Spot

Some points during the annual rotation have more clout than others. I’m told its an astrological thing and that maybe so, but whatever the cause I’m poised to celebrate new doors opening as we step into a new season and this equinoX marks the spot.

Teaching a meditation and development class last night I was reminded that my life trots along nicely in 9 year cycles (as most people’s do) and as this is a “one year” in numerology, we all began the year with high hopes of dramatic relief from past struggles. On a personal level, from the date of my birth, I’m only just now approaching and flipping into my own 1 year.

Nine years ago this Autumn I left a well paid career to start my own business (in the middle of a recession)! Nine years before that I left home to claim my independence… and that is the main treasure for me: breaking free in Autumn at the start of the cycle to start something completely new as I enter the Spring of the following year.

What I want to point out though is that I didn’t plan any of those big moves. I hadn’t schemed and plotted my escape in either case, or even with the big changes that preceded the ones I mentioned. In every case I was presented with a moment of clarity, followed immediately with an opportunity, followed by an exit point… and then once I had already made the leap of faith and was freefalling without a chute did I start making a new plan.

On this treasure map of life when you stumble across the giant X it’s time to act. If your map is anything like mine, you’ll find it is written in invisible ink until you line up with the time and place for it’s secrets to be revealed.

Stay wide open for opportunities now because the year isn’t over and your personal destiny dial has it’s very own timeline. I’m excited to see what this cycle is bringing in for me (and I’m chucking my own plans out of the window because the Divine’s plan for me usually turns out to be so much more exciting).

Principle 2: I AM Detached and Principle 4: I AM Truth.

The Power To Survive Anything

Upon waking this morning I was overcome with a sense of internal invulnerability that I haven’t felt in a long time. It comes ahead of a weekend filled with a full moon, a weird cosmic alignment, a comet etc… but more importantly it comes ahead of change. Maybe unprecedented change.

We always know when change is approaching because we are wired to understand at least on a subtle level the nuances and invisible fluctuations of the energy moving towards us, as the chakra system acts as a sequence of receivers and transmitters constantly interpreting the environment we live in… that’s what a sixth sense is.

Maybe you have noticed a subtle change in the behaviour of another or that the message has changed in even the tiniest of ways; a minute drop in temperature that warns you of incoming weather or birdsong that registers unconsciously as the approach of spring?

Change is neither good nor bad, change just is. And its essential to the cycle of life too, without it we stagnate. Not knowing what change is on its way though can be a scary prospect. Then you get this feeling I’m experiencing…

The power to survive anything happens when you recognise that you already have survived… just arriving here on the planet, being born is an ordeal in itself and yet here you are. Chances are you have been through some pretty memorable stuff up to this point in your life too. I’ve survived bereavement multiple times, divorce, severe illness, near blindness, relationships both good and bad, financial expansion, financial collapse, connection and rejection… up as well as down and yet I’ve survived. I believe I will even survive death, (at least on a soul level) because according to Principle 1: I AM God…

That feeling of invulnerability comes not from a place of defiance or arrogance but instead from a humble place of acceptance that all is as it should be and all is part of the adventure. Any experience that is meant for me I open my arms and my heart and welcome with gratitude as a lesson and a blessing from an ever loving Divine Parent.

And once again  I ask to step simply and swiftly into the slipstream towards my miracles.

Stuck Between Floors

The old world, the one you once called home, the one where the inhabitants were ushered here and there day by day; heads down, unaware of the injustice visited upon them by the shepherds of the self proclaimed utopia; once you raised your eyes from your feet and the pavement in front of you and stepped out of line, sneaking past the guard who had been equally as brainwashed into believing he was protecting some kind of social order… that world to which you once belonged when you were asleep, is now an alien place to you.

They know you are no longer entranced. To go back there is not an option.

The new world, the one with an army more equipped with technology, fire power, resources and subterfuge, the one you imagined you might infiltrate to see what was really going on, that place is terrifying to you… to be a sheep or a wolf? You can survive for so long being an evolved sheep in wolf’s clothing, there are those who won’t bat an eyelid as you carefully manoeuvre through this dangerous territory… after all you look the part, you talk the talk… but you smell like a lamb to the slaughter and you don’t know the ropes here. What do you do? You can’t stay, it’s not safe… and you certainly can’t go home…

Home?

Change is enormously distressing even when you know it’s necessary. Enlightenment, means change. Like stepping into an elevator at the ground floor and pressing the button to ascend only to find that you become stuck between floors. The time in that space can be a frantic grapple to get to a place of safety but you have no real understanding of what safety is, simply because the floor below you stifles your newly open receptors but the floor above seems just as uninspiring and full of pretenders with hidden secrets…

Where is home?

The elevator is your friend. The gentle background music and the reassuring voice “lift going up.” This isolation is not a trap.

You aren’t stuck, the small box in which you are shielded, raising you far beyond the only floors you believed existed will deposit you in its own sweet time to a place so far beyond the drab, way past the shiny and garish, into a place where sheep and wolves transform through Grace into genuinely beautiful individuals who will open their arms to accept you as the magical doors open… and for the first time you will know that you’ve truly arrived home.

Hold your nerve, don’t get off until you reach your floor… you belong much higher than ever dared believe.

Principles 1 & 4.

Saturday Oracle – Sleeping Dragon

Grail Oracle 2Grail Oracle Red

There is an almost undetectable underlying rumble about the next few days and this week’s combination hints once again at The Tower falling… though this time it’s a long overdue and welcomed breakthrough rather than the fearful gripping sensation that we would associate with the symbolism.

When Principle 2: I AM Detached sets its attention on the stability of the intense red base chakra, with it comes the undeniable apprehension of preserving what is current… but anyone can tell you that all structures eventually disintegrate and return to dust ready to rise up again in a new form.

The sense of excitement around this impending change is going to feel markedly different from the sensationalist socio-political arena we have been subjected to of late and more so because this oncoming change is personal and close to home.

Imagine if you will, a sleeping dragon beginning to stir below ground after millennia of myths and legends being passed down from generation to generation, downgraded to all but a fairytale told to children as bedtime stories… those children’s children’s children now grown and feeling the awakening consciousness of a brand new beginning and the palpable anticipation of the dragon’s emergence from below ground into the light as it were… millennia having passed, the ground has now been over developed and the tower (or towers) have been erected as mighty symbols of power and status, but the ancient promise knows nothing of this new way of being… soon to become an old way of being as magic returns to the land.

Yes, it’s very mythical in context but let’s put it in everyday perspective: something you’ve only ever dreamed about and believed until now to be impossible, well improbable at least, is now showing signs of manifesting in your life, but in order for it to fully awaken there must be some form of destruction of the familiar.

Stay present, don’t panic, and be open to reconstructing in a new way allowing what’s not necessary to fall away, thus creating space for a magical life. It’s all about flexibility and priorities.

It’s worth noting too, that when the base chakra is highlighted, your attention may still be being drawn to your physical health. Being detached in this case is still very much about remaining present with what is and not racing to conclusions about what might happen in the future… you create health here in the present with every choice you make… worry isn’t a life affirming selection.

Don’t fear the dragon and definitely don’t stand in the way when the ground starts shaking.

Ooh, and look out for that Super-Moon in Taurus this week too.
