Sometimes you just know. This is now quite possibly our most popular pick in its regularity at least, and I wasn’t at all surprised by its appearance.
The Sacred Chalice turns up when you are about to hit either the top or the bottom of a cycle and brings with it either great celebration or alternatively great sadness or disappointment. As I’m writing this I honestly cannot get a sense of which it will be as you’re teetering on the rim and it could go either way.
Success or failure, for now, you have done all you can to influence the outcome and you must surrender to a power much higher than yours to determine what fate has in store, a bit like The Wheel of Fortune in tarot.
What I can tell you, and if you have been reading this week’s posts you will be as unsurprised by this pick as I am, is that when this Chalice appears, so too does the energy of imbalance…
If you win: celebrating will take the primary focus and other areas of life will be neglected as you indulge in the revelry of your success.
If you lose: drowning your sorrows will have exactly the same effect, as will wallowing in self pity.
Either way you will no doubt have failed to heed a few Principles in the run up to the make or break moment, most notably Principle 2: I AM Detached, as your mind races to predict impossible to pin down outcomes, stress will most surely have kicked in and mental and emotional exhaustion can often be a result of the increased anxiety… be aware that this will increase your risk of illness as your immune system depletes. If you are lucky enough to fall into the full Cup of Destiny then the happy hormones that follow will sort you right out, but if you are the unlucky one who falls off the golden rim and tips the Chalice up all over you, then I’m sending you straight from here to the Self-Full corner to put all your attention back onto your own health and personal care.
I wish I could give you an exact heads up on what the outcome might be but what I can tell you is this: when you let go, surrender and allow life to happen, you give it permission to surprise you…
And may it surprise you beautifully this week.
More next week.
