If something pivotal has occurred in your life, no doubt things will look confusing for a time until you get into the swing of things.

Accepting new information or a new set of circumstances often involves integrating into your world something that wasn’t there before or even an absence of something that was. Schedules may go awry, routines become entangled and proverbial balls get dropped on the floor.

It’s perfectly acceptable to take time to find your new normal and more than acceptable – it’s absolutely necessary. In many cultures we call it the honeymoon phase, it’s where you get a temporary free pass… more accurately it’s the learning phase where everyone involved takes on the personality of the innocent fool, the student tip-toeing through life’s brand new classroom absorbing information, skills and new techniques as they go.

Reassess your priorities now based on Principle 4: I AM Truth.  What this means is focusing on what’s true and pertinent for you at this stage in your journey. Some of those lovely balls that smash on the floor may actually be filled with nothing more than air and now you feel its time to leave them behind to concentrate on a more authentic version of your dream. Sure, you may feel like you are letting some folks down but the absolute truth of the matter is that you will never be able to please everybody anyway, so then far better to please yourself and allow others to adjust in their own way and go through the same process of reassessing their own priorities.

The world adjusts and organises itself daily to new parameters and this is no different.

It’s helpful to understand what your priorities actually are. In the Seekers section of the site this coming week I’m posting an article about achieving balance, in it will be a chart of all the relevant areas of life that are requiring your attention. It’s free to join as a Seeker here if you would like to take a look.

…For now though, enjoy the temporary chaos, it’s the most satisfying disarray you’ll experience… it’s called creating a new life.

More later… x
