You know that you are nowhere near the finish line yet, but you also have a sneaky suspicion that you have past the point of no return when there’s no going back from here on out. Understanding that now is the time to double-down on your intentions and focus on where you want to go rather than where you have been, how exactly do you get into alignment with something that you have never actually experienced?
Life is changing. Not just outwardly, but also on a cellular level for many of us. We are becoming increasingly aware that we cannot return to what was. If you, like me have noticed your frequency changing, your preferences transforming day by day your sensitivity to what no longer resonates increasing by the moment, then you may also be experiencing the underlying anxiety that goes along with a fundamental shift.
Personally, as a fixed earth sign, I don’t relish major and irrevocable change, (which is a bit of a problem at the moment with Uranus, the planet of upheaval, currently resident in my home sign)! It leaves me feeling ungrounded, uprooted and with a sense of loss that disturbs my creative process and my sense of wellbeing. I feel the need to dive deep into my own reflective journey and become hermit-like. Even in the throes of what essentially has been hibernation for many, I need to go deeper in, before I can come through. I understand that transformation comes with liberation and that blessings must follow, but that doesn’t make the actual transition any less frought.
Alignment is the process of surrender, acceptance and releasing resistance to forces beyond your control. But it also requires that you orient yourself in the direction of the current so that you flow with it instead of being battered by it along the way. It requires that you set your intention for a blessed outcome, allowing the universe to dictate what needs to grow and what needs to fall, in order to arrive at that state of bliss.
When you set your intention, or place your focus, (which is tantamount to the same thing whether you realise it or not), on an outcome that you fear, then you create more resistance and make the changes increasingly more painful. When you focus on what wonders might replace your current status quo, in a manner that stays positively expectant of miracles, then you open the scope of the creative genius of the whole universe to surprise and delight you.
The transition itself, is one that you have to do in a way that supports your soul’s growth whilst ensuring that your ego feels heard and safe.
If like me, you struggle with change no matter how much you also remain open to it, then increasing the conversations you have with your higher power, angels and soul voice, through meditation, journaling and even creative daydreaming, can be beneficial in stabilising your vibration as it shifts and finds a new normal. Support your mind, body and spirit with rest, adequate hydration and nutrition. Retreat from those whose energy feels unsupportive, negative or heavy. Don’t feel the need to explain your healing actions and don’t be tempted to appease those who do not support your growth. Yes, that may mean even more change as you feel familiar networks and relationships fall away but also give rise to a self-empowered new standard of what you will and will not accept for yourself.
Respect yourself enough to know when there’s no going back. Love yourself enough to do the journey your own way. Accept yourself enough to become what you were sent here to become… but most of all see yourself clearly enough to know that there is always more to do, more to love and more to accept.
Keep growing.
Love, Jo x
