If you feel like you have been pushing against your natural rhythm of late, this will come as a validation of the inner call of the divine feminine present within all things that requires us to soften back in to flow.
The divine masculine uses language like “control” and “drive;” it propels us into a world that feels rushed and hurried, contrived and competitive. You maybe thinking that when we are all still obviously held within the confines of lockdown that those things are far from our current state, but how many of you have felt the need to hustle to catch up or keep up? How many of you have felt the pressure to adapt or fall by the wayside?
Personally I hit a wall last week, after being in the hustle stage for too long and pushing just a little too far too fast. I felt the familiar tug of fatigue creeping in and the discomfort of misalignment from my soul’s voice. For me that spells the beginning of wandering off the path into the danger zone and more importantly away from my own bliss.
Stepping back into the nurturing embrace of the divine feminine leaves room for that language to transform from “control” into “allow” and from “drive” into “flow.” Neither of these states is wrong, or right for that matter, all serves. It just has a more cooperative, collaborative, co-creative feel to it. You become the craft that flows whilst the universe controls and drives the vessel.
When we soften back into flow, we leave room for the miracles that were meant for us. We begin to demonstrate trust in a power higher than our own and become the instructed rather than always having to be the instructor. We allow the path unfold naturally without needing to dictate which direction it takes.
I invite you to join me in setting an intention for the beautiful, bountiful, fertile feminine energy of Beltane, when the May Day “Empress” is ripe with potential, to focus on bliss, gratitude and what is already present within our lives. To be open and receptive to the flow of energy that is bringing with it even more blessings and fresh opportunities until such time as the energy once again requires us to drive.
This balance or dance between the be and the do, the yin and the yang, the receiving and the giving… this is the nature of all relationships and the essence of Grail Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted. Let your heart soften back into flow, then notice all the gifts the universe is holding in reserve for you come rushing in.
