Why Would You Want To Be Anybody Else?

They say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence… living next door to a lovely retired couple as I do, the two of them both keen gardeners, this adage is actually very true in my case. A pristine lawn (devoid of buttercups), though appealing is far from my priority in life and I don’t hanker after a keeping up with the neighbours kind of life.

The general feeling this week from those I’ve been in contact with has had a similar feel. Not about grass you understand but about an underlying envy that directs people’s choices and somehow forces them to recreate what’s already been done.

We are each a unique manifestation of God, and Big G gave you a unique set of attributes, talents and skills with which to make magic… why wound you want to be anybody else?

The differences that you work so hard to hide or to correct as if He somehow made a mistake are a part of the greatest tapestry in existence. Attempting to morph into the nearest pretty, outwardly perfect specimen, is attempting to diminish the diversity of the pattern that exists as chaos in our eyes but as perfection from a higher perspective.

When a human being attempts perfection on a local scale, they create bland sameness… when The Divine creates perfection on a universal scale, It creates awe, wonder, inspiration and magic.

You may not have the perfect lawn, the perfect bikini body, the perfect Hollywood-white smile, or the perfect anything on the surface… but that’s all it is: surface.

That lawn my be laced with chemical weed killer and its owner using it as a way to avoid engaging with the world outside, that bikini body may endure living on lettuce leaves and wither at the thought of being seen as nothing more than “meat” despite a beautiful mind. That smile may be fake. hiding tears and trauma that nobody will ever know about because how can you possibly be sad with such a brilliant smile?

Everyone is subject to their own personal pain, and no matter how sexy they make it look on the outside, yours is the only pain you’re equipped to handle… The external qualities Big G gave you were specifically set up to teach you what you needed to know to become who you needed to be to achieve what you needed to achieve… if you then chose to become something else, someone else, then you took all the gifts He gave you and dropped them on the floor like an ungrateful toddler who was far more interested in taking what someone else was given.

Take what you have and nurture it. Nobody else has what you have and nobody else can recreate it.

Principle 1: I AM God

How To Avoid Conflict Through Honouring Each Other

The ego is an amazing mechanism that individuates the cosmic soup into a personality recognisable as you. You could say that its the ego that makes you unique and drives you to express that combination of skills and talents and particular gifts that allow you to be an asset in the world to carry out Divine service. The ego gets a bad rep though because of its conflicting agenda when it comes to those gifts.

As a species we are herd animals, we need each other. The ego fights between “fit in,” ” no, stand out.” “Lead,” “no, follow!” “We’re a team,” “no, I’m an individual!” It’s all a bit exhausting and emanates from a fear of not being able to reconcile the physical separation of a human existence with the connectivity of all things that our higher aspects are constantly trying to remind our ego’s.

Conflict between ego’s is an extension of that same irreconcilable internal conversation. Two people who have forgotten the number one Principle of The Wholly Grail: I AM God. This affirmation of Divinity and therefore connectivity simply means I am you and you are me and we fight because we’ve forgotten.

The world needs everything that you have to offer, and so it is with me, and the differences that become apparent when we focus all our attention upon them with a critical, judgmental and unforgiving eye become ugliness as we compile evidence of separation, but when we turn our full attention to what unites us, what similarities and complementary attributes we share, something beautiful emerges… it’s called love.

The universal energy that connects all things exists, whether we choose to acknowledge it’s presence or turn away from it, whether we choose to bury it under hatred and revenge in the name of self-preservation or simply accept that all is fair in love, and that war is actually a masquerade of the most insidious thief that exists: fear.

Conflict can only end by surrendering fear into the arms of love. Love which allows your uniqueness to stand out in service of the team whilst honouring, not coveting, the uniqueness of every member of that team as you honour yourself.

I am you, you are me… when we fight we descend towards mutually assured destruction. I’m not prepared to wound what I honour.

Archangel Zadkiel, The Angel of The Violet Flame, is there to be called upon to transmute fear, conflict and all negative vibrations, settling karmic stories and encouraging all involved to choose a higher path of mercy and love. Let him be our best friend as we all refocus on peace.

On or Off The Planet

Occasionally, perhaps even once in a lifetime comes something so big that it almost knocks you on your arse.

A few days ago after teaching meditation to a group I received what is sometimes termed a ‘download’ from spirit. Two nights of no sleep as the information filtered into my consciousness brought to the fore a whole pattern spanning my life, my work and my relationships and suddenly in a cathartic rush everything made sense… a series of flashbacks mapped the synchronicities along my own personal path that have led to this point. I have a purpose.

Of course everybody does and I don’t want it to sound so dramatic, what I’m trying to articulate (I think) is that we are rarely given a glimpse of the bigger picture and the role we play in the greater whole. Often we just do the best we can from moment to moment following our joy (or pain for those of us who haven’t awoken enough to recognise there’s a choice) towards an unknowable conclusion, but if you catch a glimpse… it’s breathtaking, terrifying, blissful, awful…

Why the mixed blessings? Humanity are rarely equipped to see beyond the scope of their own experience, it’s too big and we start to question whether or not we are up to the job. I suppose it’s like becoming a parent for the first time and realising that you are no longer just responsible for yourself and that life and death are now sitting firmly within your hands, that’s why terrifying and wonderful all at the same time.

No matter how far you can see, no matter how small or large the task, no matter the size of the cog in the machine, you are irreplaceable. Nobody else on or off the planet, can possibly do the job you were sent to do. Only you have that particular genetic code, that fingerprint, those unique experiences, that singular perspective, only you can play the part set aside for you by the Greatest Magician there is and when you grasp that, you yourself become the most vivid and powerful version of you because you understand in high definition that comparing yourself to anyone and anything simple becomes an exercise in futility.

Principle 1: I AM God and Principle 4: I AM Truth. You are too.
