Life is full of uncertainties. We find ourselves moving through different spheres of being whether we are trying to illicit change or not. The journey is always happening even when life feels static.
Because the motion of transformation occurs at such an imperceptible rate during your normal daily grind, unless you look back with purpose at how life was say a year ago, your fearful self doesn’t get spooked because the flow was slow and natural.
What about those times of sudden shift though?
The use of the word home in the title is no more about your street address than it is about your furniture, in fact moving house could be one of the sudden shifts I’m referring to, as could a birth, a death, a new relationship or the end of one to name but a few. No, the home I’m referring to is the sense of stability, confidence and inner well-being that life is ok no matter what chaos is happening externally.
Familiarity, is the key to feeling safe. When you find that part of you which remains constant through all your experiences, the unshakable, unbreakable essence of who you are, who you came here to share as a gift to the world, that’s when you understand that home is a state of mind wrapped up in a quantum field that you are incapable of ever leaving and that change is merely an update in the illusory theatrical scenery and actors in the story.
If the story didn’t evolve, we’d all stop playing. When it evolves at pace we all get jittery simply because we lose our place in the script and are forced to ad lib without warning, making the plot twists that bit more nail biting, edge of your seat, sometimes excruciating.
The truth is that home is within not without and that everything else, everyone else, is just temporary shelter.
Remember who you are. Principle 1: I AM God.
