First Monday Challenge – Aligning The Crazy Internal Compass

It’s already March and the first Monday of the month has arrived to greet us with a challenge. Let us then meet it with an open heart and mind, not to mention great expectations.

Ask yourself a question to get yourself in the right frame of mind to enable this challenge to best serve you, the question is simple: “Am I going the right way?”

It’s not a trick question, and you may indeed be oriented towards all that is great and glorious but within you is a truth barometer that can detect the essence of a lie, denial, muddle or confusion. This internal barometer sends you messages constantly by the way that you feel, for example anxiety, apprehension, tension in the body may denote an untruth that you are telling yourself about the quality and validity of the current direction, whereas, joy, excitement, inspiration and expansiveness may be an indication that you’re right on track.

So ask yourself the question and allow the answer to arrive through the way that you feel.

Now for the challenge…

Did you just find out that your subconscious knows you’re off course? Don’t panic, the thing about this journey is that you can always adjust your heading and lay in a new set of coordinates, but the challenge is to first take a moment to check in with your compass: Source.

Altering course before you know where you wish to go or where your Soul wants to guide you would just have your ship going in circles and never having a clear indication of where you are, never mind what direction to take, so conscious contact with your higher power is the very next step to take. It’s all about aligning your crazy internal compass towards your intended outcome once you have determined what that is.

I know some of you maybe wondering what you really want out of life and have no real direction or purpose, especially if you have recently gone through a major life change or are trying to create one, so instead of specific, tangible goals, focus on how you want to feel… fulfilled, useful, joyful, adventurous, healthy, vital, loving, loveable and loved… how about those little gems for starters? Add your own and have fun with it.

Now all you need do is open your heart and mind to a new way of being, let go of everything you think you already know about who you are and what you’re capable of, and let God show you a sign about where to tread next… tread lightly and enjoy.

Happy Monday!

In The Presence Of Heroes

Many of you have them, heroes that is. Perhaps those in the media, those in powerful positions within your industries or interests, but how many of your heroes exist within your current circle of friends?

I feel very blessed to know quite a few, what I call, everyday heroes. People who inspire me day in, day out with extraordinary feats of endurance, patience, forgiveness, strength of character and the ability to break through personal barriers in their own lives and I am genuinely grateful for each of them.

When you focus on what needs to transform within your own life, often it’s difficult to see a way to break through old conditioning… My mum has this saying that makes me laugh “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” which is basically her way of saying she can’t be bothered to break an old habit if it requires effort, but there are times when you genuinely don’t know how to start. This is the time when you call upon your heroes and ask yourself: “What do I admire about them?” “What attributes would I like to emulate in my own life?”

If you are surrounded by heroes then you too are blessed because you naturally begin to morph into the same vibration as those you spend your time with. If however, you find yourself spending the majority of your time with the victim brigade then guess where your energy is headed? A few of you will be strong enough to pull the crowd up by the bootstraps into the 5th dimension but most will be betting against losing odds. So here’s the thing… place yourself in the presence of heroes.

When it comes to The Wholly Grail, Principle 4: I AM Truth asks that you follow your own star and so emulating your heroes might seem counter-intuitive, but when you have identified and are focused on the star, it’s helpful if someone is around to demonstrate how to tie the rope and lasso the one with your name on it!

The heroes in your life will show you how, tell you you can,  cheer you on whilst you try and open the champagne when you succeed… The heroes are my kind of people.

Inextinguishable Source of All Light

Archangel Uriel, whose name means Fire of God, has been my close companion this week. Have you ever noticed how, when you’re “on fire” there’s always someone wanting to steal your spark?

I mentioned a few days ago how it feels to me as though spring has sprung and my mood and energy are dancing along nicely in the warmth of the sun, under these unseasonably blue skies occurring over South Yorkshire, UK. I’m inspired, joyful, filled with light and love and enthusiasm and what I’ve noticed is that everyone wants a little piece of it… That’s wonderful because it means they are recognising what they want and how good it appears to feel… the problem is, they want a piece of mine…

Now, I’m not mean and having siblings I was brought up knowing how to share, but did you know that this good feeling stuff is actually free and in abundance everywhere in the universe? People flock like moths to a candle flame when someone is full of light but there is always a danger of their flapping wings putting the candle out.

Archangel Uriel has been working relentlessly to maintain my inner glow and keep it burning at a steady and sustained rate… here’s how you can do it for yourself:

To get that spark going… Take your foot off the gas with whatever you’re doing and get busy with some day to day physical stuff, “chop wood, carry water” as the Chinese proverb goes. For me its gardening, baking, going out for a walk in nature (or just cleaning the bath, which for some reason is when I have my coolest ideas). It’s all about relinquishing control over the stuff that’s cluttering up your mind.

Fan the flames… learn something new. Six months ago I was so stressed because I had no idea how to create this site, I taught myself and when I got completely stuck, I asked one of those siblings for help to get me unstuck… but I didn’t ask him to do it for me, that’s the key you see, fanning the flames is about recognising little by little just how powerful you are. You can sit there and say “I don’t know how” or “I can’t” or you can say ” there’s a world full of information out there and anything is possible.” Once you make even the tiniest bit of progress or have a mini aha! moment, you’re on fire…

Protecting the flame… don’t let other people’s drama deplete your energy and don’t deny them their right to fan their flames. You may think you’re helping but you are simply creating  dependency… show them the light and then let them fly towards the inextinguishable source of all light.

The fire is within you, so go on and stoke it… ask Archangel Uriel to help.

If you’d like to learn more about the art of Self-Full Living, Principle 6 of The Wholly Grail will be available later this year as a training programme in the forthcoming members area. To find out more watch out for link coming in next weeks posts.
