The Joy Of Unleashing Your Inner Genius

I’ve had so much fun this week I can hardly contain myself! I took the role of the innocent fool in order to explore a new adventure that quite honestly scared me shitless… I had no idea what I was doing, I knew I would have to make myself visible and vulnerable and that for me, the idea of appearing to not have the first foggiest clue is a territory I dread, but I embraced my fear in order to evolve and discovered what it means to feel the joy of unleashing your inner genius.

Building my website has been excruciating at times. With no technical experience I’ve worked through trial and error, learning along the way. Building a membership site however… creating online training etc… Oh my. I took myself off last week to get some tech training and this week the final link fell into place when a friend pointed me toward a 10 day video challenge. OMG! Video? If you’re doing it online they wanna see your face… I’m on day 3 and I’m having a bloody ball!

Now your inner genius may have nothing to do with anything as mundane as creating your own videos and this insight isn’t about that, your inner genius though, whatever it is, lies just on the other side of fear, discomfort, uncertainty or in my case sheer terror.

I needed to get across that dark stretch of water because what I want to achieve and how I want serve is located on the opposite riverbank. I saw the opportunity, signed up, spent days wondering how I could back out without losing face, then took a deep breath and had a go. I had no idea that my fear was all about looking stupid in public and actually I’ve realised that looking stupid is actually one of my most endearing qualities… I’m having fun, and fun attracts more fun and more connection and encourages others to jump in and have a go too… and I’m all about encouraging others.

Genius doesn’t mean remaining static, it’s about growth and growth can be uncomfortable but that discomfort is short lived… especially if you rip the plaster off!

What do you want to do, be, learn or have?

Go on, rip the plaster off!

For Being Wild And Free

When I posted the oracle reading at the weekend for this week, you might remember a mere mention of St Patrick’s Day and the Fae Goddess Aine, sometimes associated with or as the Faerie Queen Dana. Legends vary about the queen of the faeries but one legend has it that St Patrick was revered for having banished the Tuatha De Danan (Children of Dana or little people) from Ireland. Aine, instead of actually leaving, simply raised her vibration and made herself and her kin folk invisible to avoid conflict. All this because Paddy and his fellow invaders feared the Tuatha for being wild and free. The Fae found a way to co-exist anyway.

Of course the validity of the stories are questionable and I’m not really worried about the source of a good yarn, perhaps spun by a leprechaun of Tuatha origin who had one too many pints of Guinness before planting a smackeroony on the Blarney Stone… The point is thus: some old geezer with a stilted idea of what is acceptable behaviour decided to demonize a whole race because he wasn’t prepared to learn more about what it means to allow everyone to breathe their own uniqueness.

Now in other legends, Aine’s sexuality is suppressed and even oppressed by an older man who wants to control her… The story is one of abuse and not at all pleasant so I won’t elaborate but all in all the moral is: conform, reform, perform… and do it by someone else’s rules and expectations or be punished/banished.

The Wholly Grail’s Principles 1 through 7 all have a universal clause, what this means is although each Principle begins with the words “I AM” it applies to all, so whilst I AM, YOU ARE too. The problems really kick in when you lose sight of the fact that “you are.” When you feel less than, it is human nature to try to diminish or disempower another in order to level the field or to feel better about one’s own inadequacies. In truth the only power you ever need is in abundant supply and readily available from Source. That wild and free, pure innocence of knowing whose child you actually are, to the untrained eye can look like rebellion, disruption, non-conformist, far-too-lairy-for-words, who-do-you-think-you-are, I’ll-pull-you-down-a-peg-or-two shenanigans and strikes ¬†fear in those who wish to control it.

Now, as you watch or participate in this St Patrick’s Day festivities, count how many leprechauns and leprechaun hats you see… The Tuatha had the last laugh because they successfully integrated themselves into the long forgotten and rewritten story as the hero of the hour… Aine/Dana left a legacy of magic and luck that means when the world celebrates on March 17th, it has nothing to do with a mean fella banishing the Fae Folk from the Emerald Isle and everything to do with embracing the wild pure spirit (and the black stuff).

Just as I finished writing this, my faerie guide Harvey, (short for Harv ‘a Mo, because he’s always trying to get me to think before I act… ha!) funnily enough also a ginger bearded little Irish dude in a green top hat, started telling me a joke…. “Did you hear the one about the Irish Saint who thought he defeated the Faerie Goddess…”

What was I waffling on about?

The Free Mind

Grail Oracle 5Grail Oracle Indigo

A shift in perspective has opened up a new line of abundance to you and you didn’t know it was so easy to be free…

Principle 5: I AM Liberated and the deep indigo of the 3rd eye chakra have joined forces this week to congratulate you on tapping into the universal law off attraction.

You have spent years worrying about how to make the next pay check or meet the mortgage payment and quite often to the detriment of your sleep patterns and health but the meeting of these energies is a sign that you have let go into the flow of abundance simply by accepting that everything you need is already yours.

The free mind is a mind that is open to possibilities and therefore open to opportunities. It isn’t swayed by promises of material wealth and instead pursues the gratification found only in being useful, creative and of divine service. You may be asking what that looks like… well there’s that old Chinese proverb again: chop wood, carry water… or effectively, focus only on the task at hand, immerse yourself fully into everything you do and look for the payoff in the joy of presence rather than the monetary return on interest.

Visionary thinking is building up your cosmic coffers because that’s not your primary goal. Whereas your past worry was focused on how to make ends meet, your current attitude is on how much fun your having achieving it, God obliges by offering up enough of everything you need to keep the party going.

It really is that simple this week: free your mind of the how, and start enjoying the now. Release all that isn’t necessary and let God take care of the details.

Just as a mini disclaimer though, now isn’t the time to be irresponsible with money, respect it and allow it to flow in and out as it needs to. It will come and it will go whilst you are engaged in enjoying the free things in life like friendship, laughter, singing, dancing…

Life is good.

More next week… x
