The Celestial Mapmaker

What gives you passion gives you purpose. Without purpose you will find yourself like a rudderless ship drifting on an endless sea.

Before GPS was invented and satellites were thrust up into orbit amongst the rest of the space junk that we’ve managed to lay to waste in heaven’s, we navigated by the stars. Those of us who still believe in destiny, that our lives are literally mapped out by those same celestial bodies, are navigating the seas of personal realisation just as those sailors once navigated the globe.

Being one of those believers, I’m almost certain that something much bigger than I, something with a plan I don’t have full access to, wrote amongst those stars a combination or constellation so powerful in its magnetic pull that I would have no choice but to follow the breadcrumbs laid out for me towards a convergence that only It could possibly predict.

Why else would the synchronicities I have stumbled upon have led me to this point?

God, Source, Allah, The Tao… whatever you choose to call The Celestial Mapmaker, seems to have a failsafe when it comes to this unfolding: when you’re off course, off mission, off purpose even, and the synchronicities are ignored in your attempt to assert your presumption of free will, your passion wanes. Basically put: if it’s not written in the stars you can’t get excited about it.

This is the same premise that attracts us to a mate. If you are incompatible or not meant to interact then there is no spark… Now don’t get me wrong here, passion can be positive or negative… you can dislike someone with a passion too, but in order for there to be an impact there has to be an attraction… The Law of Attraction! The moon has a magnetic pull that moves the oceans creating waves of passion that swell and recede… the ocean cannot react otherwise… it’s a failsafe written in the stars… The moon will rise, the oceans will heave. It’s all very romantic but it has a point:

The point being that if your not passionate about something then you’re off mission. That’s not to say that every detail will inspire you but your every action will lead you towards an outcome that if you only knew how miraculous it could be, if you had just enough faith and trust to lean into the fear of the unknown and surrender to the greater plan, the rewards could be beyond your wildest dreams.

You may not have access to the big picture in your human form but you have to understand that when you embrace all that you are: The Celestial Mapmaker is you. It was written in the stars because you put it there, and that passion you feel is a spark of The Divine within you remembering the time before time when The Mind of God drew the map and The Hand of God fashioned the heavens.

A Grail Knight’s Guide To Handling A Workaholic

Around two thousand and odd years ago there purportedly lived a man who by all intents and purposes changed the face of spirituality forever. So pivotal was his role that millennia later we still speak his name. This man was a workaholic. He was known to be a humble healer and a teacher of spiritual truths. He lived, ate, breathed and slept his mission because it was also his passion and his purpose… but this simple, gentle soul had a secret…

To maintain the pace, power and purity of the word he needed help, he knew this. Though the mission was his and his alone he understood that no man stands as an island and that others had a mission that corresponded with his own. This wise and humble sage, eternally open to the blessings and guidance of an ever loving Source, knew that part of his mission here on earth was to respect that all human life had a role to play and that he would be led to those who would be vital to his own journey… carefully he chose 12 worthy individuals and the world would remember them as disciples.

But there was another, a 13th. In a world that still shunned half the population he knew this to be a risky strategy but he was guided by the yearnings of his heart that this one knew. She knew the truth of his teachings before he uttered them for she too had a direct channel to an ever loving Creator. For the sake of the story let’s call her Mary.

Now, Mary was a beautiful flower and she understood that she distracted him from his work but this distraction was guided and gifted from heaven for it was his job to educate the world how to create that same heaven here on earth, but her job was to show him that he didn’t have to sacrifice for it… The sacrifice would come soon enough and heaven on earth was for his benefit too.

The humble sage soon learned to alternate healing and teaching the world with private time with his family, breaking bread in private juxtaposed with feeding the five thousand… And Mary, she healed him as he healed them…

Had it not been so, had he not allowed Mary to become his confidante, his lover, his wife; had he not understood that his mission included her, he would have died alone on that cross, the twelve having denied him thrice before the cock crowed and having fallen asleep in that garden in his darkest hour when he needed them most…

His work not yet complete, without her to cleanse and anoint his beautiful body laying him to rest, who then would he have appeared to upon his ascension? Those who denied him, disbelieving her?

Enough of this ancient story for now except to say this: when you understand your purpose and you become emblazoned with a passion for the Divine-dealt reason for your existence, recognise that God sends to you all the requisite pieces and people to aid the task. To this gentle sage He sent a Mary, she never questioned his journey, she walked with him every step of the way and carried on his teaching way beyond. Her passion was the Christ, but when he needed sleep she made him rest, when he needed sustenance she fed him (even if he protested: “Petal, I’m in the middle of the sermon on the mount” to which she merely smiled and replied “Jesus, will you shut up and eat” or words to that effect). When he was sick she nursed him, when he needed a sounding board, she listened… and when he needed love…

A Grail Knight’s guide to handling a workaholic begins with understanding the mission, followed by being as passionate about the end product as the one working, finding a way to support them through it whilst maintaining a Self-Full lifestyle and finally being willing to sacrifice… everything except for each other.

God has a plan and whether you are The Messiah or his Mary, desire will tell you where He thinks your focus should lie and don’t presume to know His reasons.

Principle 1: I AM God

Principle 4: I AM Truth

Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted

But most of all Principle 6: Isn’t it time you let someone take care of you?

The Humble Seer

Grail Oracle 1 Grail Oracle Violet

I pulled this oracle combination for you this morning and then left it to one side for a while whilst I allowed it to filter into my consciousness. I wasn’t suprised by the synchronicity as I work with oracles on a daily basis but this one seemed particularly poignant for me and several others that I have worked with this week.

The Humble Seer combines the 1st Principle of The Wholly Grail: I AM God with the violet energy of the crown chakra and is the point where divine insturction meets destiny and free will seemingly gets overridden. I say seemingly because there is always a choice, but there is moment in many people’s lives when they are confronted with so much evidence of a greater plan that when they look back over the events of their lives the pattern is so apparent that everything that has occurred to them and for them has been leading up to this singular moment or mission.

Overwhelming as it may seem at this time you are being asked to suspend disbelief and step fully into your unique role here on the planet as you now understand that you make a difference… no matter how small and to how few, your contribution is so key to the bigger picture that one way or another the universe has and will continue to push you towards the inevitable conclusion… in other words: you got on this rollercoaster and there is no getting off.

When this oracle selection shows its face we often slip into a mode of questioning our self-worth: “how can I possibly be that important?” and then we shift into asking “what if I screw up?” You have been preparing for lifetimes for the task you came here to do and God doesn’t make mistakes… neither will you. Whatever the outcome of your next steps, everything is as it should be.

Confidence is key and on that note… I believe in you!

More next week… x
