Saturday Oracle – Free Your Mind From Worry

Worry is the single most useless type of thought process you can apply your mind to, and yet it is also a fairly universal preference. I say preference because we have a choice, and if we have a choice and still choose worry then surely it’s because we prefer it? Isn’t it time to free your mind?

This week’s combination includes Principle 5: I AM Liberated, the affirmation of letting yourself out of a prison born of matter with the highly spiritual violet crown chakra. These two are are a prescription for remedial action where worry is concerned.

So the potential for the week ahead then is finding yourself being drawn into negative thought patterns and false beliefs about something or someone, that have been keeping you locked into your current set of circumstances and unable to move forward. It’s important to get to grips with the fact that neither the object nor the individual have any power over you, it is your thoughts about the subject that control your action or inaction.

Interrupting the worry habit is key to rectifying the detrimental effects on your physical and emotional life and there are a few ways you can do that… this particular combination is recommending meditation as an antidote, distraction is another that simply takes you filling idle time where your mind has too much opportunity to wander back to the familiar, with concentrated effort or new learning.

Worry is usually about loss of some kind, whether that be loss of material attachments, loss of status, loss of comfort, loss of tribal bonds and relationships, loss of reputation, loss of health and finally loss of life. Worry won’t fix any of those things and that’s why finding perspective through witnessing your life from a higher platform during meditation can help you firstly release your mental and emotional grip on whatever recurring thought has you held prisoner, and secondly will allow your higher self to switch you to solution based deliberation.

You may not actually be in danger of losing the object of your apparent distress at all and in that case the energy you expend fretting about it may be causing issues of its own.

All 7 Wholly Grail Principles are free to view on my website for a better understanding of how this philosophy works to find peace and freedom in your own life.

After The Storm

I love the smell of the air immediately after the storm. Everything is more alive, more vibrant, washed clean by the rain and in full colour. It’s a time when, as a child I would take off my shoes and walk along the York stone paving with bare feet just so I could feel the wet, cool, solid foundation reminding me that this moment counts.

This moment counts.

What you do with it is your choice. It could be life changing, life affirming or it could pass by as a simple moment of acknowledgment of all that there is… you don’t have to do anything of course, you can go on with your daily rounds without looking up, without truly, fully breathing in, and without a clue that the moment is passing you by.

Having selected Principle 6: I AM Self-Full as the lead card in Saturday’s Intuitive Chalice Oracle, I’m mindful of the focus energy this week on doing what’s right for you and doing it slowly and with purpose. It’s being compounded by the gentle new moon in Taurus arriving in the early hours of Wednesday morning (about 01:16am UK time). The emphasis for me is about focus: all or nothing, this and only this… It may seem like limiting choices and expression of variety but for now at least, that way lies scattered thinking and dispersed intentions. I am my primary focus. My needs are paramount.

The storm has passed and it’s time to ponder the emergence of fresh perspective and tend to the fundamentals like health, home and happiness.

Whatever storms you have been facing have blown away the cobwebs and the chaos has transformed into a fertile landscape for planting new seeds. Some of those seeds you rescued from what went before, some you have dreamed anew but the only thing that matters now are the dreams you’ve dreamed for you.

Take off your shoes, put your feet on the ground, breathe, smile… and draw the moment inward until it fills you.

Happy Monday… x

Saturday Oracle – Being All In

Difficult decisions can only be made once you understand what motivates your choices.

We make arrangements, agreements, commitments spoken and unspoken, we fulfil responsibilities and obligations that these contracts, conscious and unconscious bring with them, but do we actually understand and honour the most sacred contract there is? That is the one we have to ourselves.

This week’s oracle teams up Principle 6: I AM Self-Full, with the emerald green of the heart chakra to highlight for us this fundamental and yet often neglected vow of taking care of our own needs.

Ask yourself as you step into the week ahead who you are doing it for? Who you get out of bed for, go to work for, cook for, make yourself beautiful for? Ask who you cry for, smile for, yearn for and strive for? You will come up with many answers from your kids to your boss to your clients to your lover to your dog… but the ultimate truth is you do it for you.

Your kids bring you joy, love, a sense of continuity and even immortality. Your boss is just the guy or girl that pays the wages that fund your lifestyle. Your clients’ happiness gives you a sense of fulfilment and purpose. Your lover makes you feel special (hopefully), provides physical attention and acts a mirror to your hopes, dreams and aspirations, as well as fulfilling your need for connection and companionship and that urge to pair off that dates back to Adam and Eve, and was fortified by Noah’s deliberate loading strategy for his big wooden boat thing. Your dog… well who knows why we humans are so attached to four-legged furry things but it’s mostly because they love you unconditionally for who you are no matter how shit your hair looks or whether you’re a flatulent toad in your down time. At the route of every obligation, contract or commitment is the fact that it benefits YOU!

Now that we’ve cleared that up, give yourself a little while to let it percolate and come at this oracle afresh.

Self-Full Living is the art of providing for one’s own needs. You either do it consciously or unconsciously.

The heart chakra is the centre of balance in the energy system, it’s the healing heart where unconditional love comes from, it provides a safe space in which to exist, that’s what it means to hold someone in your heart, you give them a space to heal, to be whole. Now imagine for a moment that you are the person you are holding within that centre of life affirming, healing love… everything you do this week must be about you so take that temporary time out, let it breathe (whatever it is) whilst you have a word with yourself about your motives.

Commitment is an all or nothing deal. Fear is the enemy of commitment. Maybe, you’re afraid of losing? Maybe you’re afraid of winning? Maybe you’re afraid of losing yourself in the vastness of a love so deep and so powerful that it consumes you? But it’s your love… The love you lavish upon yourself. Whatever you pour it into, whoever you pour it into, you ultimately are pouring into yourself. Do you love yourself enough to give life and love your best shot?

Take the time, make the space, and then asked the question…

Am I all in?

Because if you’re not all in, you’re out.

Getting To The Finishing Line Without Breaking A Sweat

How did Friday arrive without me noticing?

I’ve done a really stupid thing with my schedule over the next week or so, I’ve forgotten to leave room for me. Have you ever done that? Squeezed every last drop out of your waking hours on paper and then thought to yourself “shit I’ve not left any time for my own priorities or to just be.”

The thing is, I had my head down in full focus mode and time became an irrelevant notion that was limitless and I made it my friend, so when it came to booking in requests from clients, from family, from friends, and adding prior commitments into the mix I simply looked up, saw a space on the calendar and said yes… I never once thought to take a back step and ask myself what my own agenda for the week was and what I hoped to achieve with it…. I never looked at my own big picture.

My time the last few days seemed limitless because I was on task and on purpose, and the universe expands resources when you are focused on fulfilling a goal aligned with Spirit’s intentions for you. It’s like getting to the finish line without breaking a sweat, as per my mantra “clear me a path swiftly and simply into the slipstream towards my miracles.” But you have to pay attention to the big picture because that’s the miracle your slipstream is flowing towards.

Ok so I took my eye off the ball and I won’t be back on task now until the back end of next week, but at least I’m aware of it and can deliberately link into Principle 2: I AM Detached, the Principle that unravels the whole idea of time being finite because it demands that you plant yourself firmly in this moment and enjoy every minute of the process as it unfolds making it my friend once again… that’s what the slipstream truly is.

Have an amazing weekend x

Dialling Home To Heaven – Reverence in Meditation

Following on from the appearance of The Sacred Chalice in the Oracle at the weekend I thought it prudent to inject a little reverence into this week’s posts. I hope you enjoyed Monday’s insight and that the angelic grace visualisation helped to settle any disturbance you may be feeling as a result of the current energy flow.

Reverence is something that gets lost when you have fun with spirituality and you should definitely have fun with it. Life is supposed to be fun and God, The Creator, Source, Tao, whatever you want to call Him/Her/It isn’t judging you for it… you will not be smited for calling The Almighty “Big G” as I do, nor will the angels forsake you because you meditate whilst sat on the loo!

When things get a little scary though, when your world tilts slightly and you lose perspective and connection due to the internal mess that comes with change, that’s when reverence, applied sincerely, is like dialling home to heaven.

Sacred practice is a part of living a spiritual life: meditation or prayer for example, daily communication with your higher power is essential for maintaining a healthy spirit… for the most part it’s like calling mum and dad from your travels, laughing, joking, just checking in, but applying reverence is like turning up at the door and saying softly “Mum, Dad, we need to talk. I’m in trouble and I need help.”

The atmosphere instantly changes and God seems to stop what He’s doing for just a moment (and mum’s no longer washing up whilst your chatting, she’s sat at the table giving you all her attention, dad’s put down the paper and is staring intently into your eyes watching for signs of what’s happening in your mind)… everybody is paying attention… because you are treating this moment with a sacred trust and a sense of importance.

God’s always listening. He’d much prefer you to be happy, tuned in to the part of you that is Him, knowing you’ve got this, following your bliss and just checking in to say ” Hi, everything is flowing smoothly” but when you shift gear and really dial in… when reverence replaces revelling, that’s when you come home and recognise you are loved, and your Divine Parent will always be there to lift you up, bail you out and put you back on your playful path.

Light a candle, take a moment… and start dialling home to heaven.

Angelic Visualisation – Begin With Your Heart

Take a few moments to breathe deeply.

Place your hands over your heart chakra, not your physical heart but the centre of your sternum. Left hand first, right hand on top… and breathe.

You can do this sitting, standing, lying in bed, it doesn’t matter but I prefer standing with feet slightly apart, this helps to bring the chakras in line and has you making a solid connection with the ground through the soles of your feet.

As you’re breathing in through your nose, out through your mouth, say in your mind the following:

“In the name of God (or Source if you prefer) and all that it light, I call upon the Archangels to join my here in this space. I call upon Archangel Michael, Archangel Azrael, Archangel Uriel and Archangel Raphael. I call upon the Archangel’s Gabriel, Zadkiel and Chamuel to surround me as I pray…”

Remember to breathe.

As you visualise these mighty beings forming a circle round you, continue:

“…I ask that these seven mighty angels stand as pillars of light, anchoring a temple of illumination around me and within this sacred temple I invoke a Field of Grace. May grace surround and protect me, may it penetrate every cell of my being, cleansing, healing and restoring me back to the divine blueprint for my highest potential…”

See yourself being sent a stream of golden light from above and a golden chalice hovering about eight inches above your crown being filled with this golden stream of light until it overflows and showers down through your chakras and over your aura, spilling out towards the Archangels. Let them amplify the golden light and as they reflect it back to you from their hearts see it transform into rose-gold light. Remove you hands from your heart chakra and allow the field of grace to fill it.

Energy flows to you, through and from you and you are now a conduit for grace.

“…As grace flows to me, through me and from me, all those whom I connect with, all those whom I come into contact with through this day, shall be blessed by, healed by, calmed by, and brought peace by this grace. I AM Grace. I channel grace and vow to be grace throughout this day. And so it is, and so it will be.”

Always begin with your heart. Your heart holds the key to this whole process… and that’s a powerful team you just called in.

Hope you enjoyed that little angelic visualisation. May your day be filled with grace, may you be surrounded by angels and may you be a conduit for miracles.

Saturday Oracle – The End Of The Road

Go on, ask me if I’m surprised this one came up?

I choose the relevant combinations simply by allowing my hands to hover over the backs of the face down cards to discern where the energy accumulates and is more intense… today the Sacred Chalice was all but screaming at me. The only card that is neither a Grail Principle nor does it need an accompanying chakra card because it’s message is basic: “This is it.”

“This is what?” You may well ask.

This is the end of the road.

You can no longer keep doing what you’ve been doing in the way that you’ve been doing it and total surrender is now the order of the day.

The card has both positive and negative aspects so don’t make assumptions. On the one hand you may have hit rock bottom and be in need of a miracle because your life cannot continue this way, but on the other, the arrival of the miracle or jackpot itself also means your life cannot continue the way it did. Change is change, the end is the end, whether you view it as a windfall or a wipeout.

This of course is the weekend associated with resurrection which literally describes the death of the old and rising up as something new, and you will have a very strong notion already of which area of your life this applies to. Don’t try to hold onto the old paradigm, it no longer serves you.

When The Sacred Chalice shows up, whether good or not so much, it requires you to go back to basics, creating a solid foundation upon which to build from. Here I recommend following Principle 6: I AM Self-Full to focus on your primary needs and self care, especially as any change, even a major lottery win or finding and falling in love with Mr Right, will cause a jolt to the system.

The chalice symbolically represents the womb and is therefore always about nurturing oneself and allowing your higher power to provide a place of safety and sustenance materially and energetically.

Eat well, sleep well, meditate often and exercise gently to disperse any accumulation of stress hormones, preferably out in nature if the weather allows, and finally, ask for support from loved ones if you need it. ¬†Though it may not be time to announce to the world what’s going on, a beloved or trusted friend can be the difference between joyful transformation and struggling in isolation.

I pray your Chalice be filled with joyful blessings, but I know they really are blessings even if you cannot see how that’s the case at present.

The enormity of the energy of this card makes me wishing you fluffy Easter Bunnies and a basket full of miracles seem a little frivolous, but I do.
