How To Avoid Conflict Through Honouring Each Other

The ego is an amazing mechanism that individuates the cosmic soup into a personality recognisable as you. You could say that its the ego that makes you unique and drives you to express that combination of skills and talents and particular gifts that allow you to be an asset in the world to carry out Divine service. The ego gets a bad rep though because of its conflicting agenda when it comes to those gifts.

As a species we are herd animals, we need each other. The ego fights between “fit in,” ” no, stand out.” “Lead,” “no, follow!” “We’re a team,” “no, I’m an individual!” It’s all a bit exhausting and emanates from a fear of not being able to reconcile the physical separation of a human existence with the connectivity of all things that our higher aspects are constantly trying to remind our ego’s.

Conflict between ego’s is an extension of that same irreconcilable internal conversation. Two people who have forgotten the number one Principle of The Wholly Grail: I AM God. This affirmation of Divinity and therefore connectivity simply means I am you and you are me and we fight because we’ve forgotten.

The world needs everything that you have to offer, and so it is with me, and the differences that become apparent when we focus all our attention upon them with a critical, judgmental and unforgiving eye become ugliness as we compile evidence of separation, but when we turn our full attention to what unites us, what similarities and complementary attributes we share, something beautiful emerges… it’s called love.

The universal energy that connects all things exists, whether we choose to acknowledge it’s presence or turn away from it, whether we choose to bury it under hatred and revenge in the name of self-preservation or simply accept that all is fair in love, and that war is actually a masquerade of the most insidious thief that exists: fear.

Conflict can only end by surrendering fear into the arms of love. Love which allows your uniqueness to stand out in service of the team whilst honouring, not coveting, the uniqueness of every member of that team as you honour yourself.

I am you, you are me… when we fight we descend towards mutually assured destruction. I’m not prepared to wound what I honour.

Archangel Zadkiel, The Angel of The Violet Flame, is there to be called upon to transmute fear, conflict and all negative vibrations, settling karmic stories and encouraging all involved to choose a higher path of mercy and love. Let him be our best friend as we all refocus on peace.

Can You Care Too Much?

Monday’s feel like a good day to explore further the message that the weekend’s oracle provides for the days ahead, so hang with me to unlock the reason why the truth is so difficult. Ask yourself: can you care too much?

Truth was big on the agenda in Saturday’s reading and it strikes me that we all manage to hide absolute truth behind a wall built of fear. Fear of being seen as less than we pretend to portray, fear of loss, fear of rejection, fear of abandonment etc. but mostly this fear is an unconscious pattern that until explored remains a faceless feeling of unease that is squashed down and hidden in the closet by a lie, an exaggeration, an embellishment or an omission. The truth, we believe, will expose us and make us vulnerable.

The answer is that yes, we can care too much. But about what?

Outcomes, certainty and prediction, all the reasons we read oracles, see psychics and send ourselves half insane is to do with the human ego’s attempt to pin down the future, to be sure. “If I do A will it lead me to Z?”

But what happens when you stop caring?

When you disconnect from the need to know where all this is leading and detach from the destination (so much as to simply allow Source to lead you into whatever happens next with an open mind and an open heart), you put your inner gremlins back to bed because they have nothing left to protect you from. For example: when you give up the need for someone to like you or agree with you because you’re no longer invested in anything but the well-being of all parties, suddenly you open up a window for honest communication. Offending someone is no longer an obstacle because the primary objective becomes understanding, which can only come from genuine listening in equal measure to authentic speech… two way dialogue.

Imagine how different your conversations would be during your workday if you weren’t subconsciously sabotaging yourself and fudging reality because you were afraid your boss might not like you, or your colleagues might not invite you to the after work get-together.

Detach from your hidden agendas today by being ruthlessly honest with yourself first about what you are really withholding the truth for, and who from?… maybe it’s you?

Saturday Oracle – Truth Will Out

Truth will out this week as the authenticity contained in Principle 4: I AM Truth, embraces and communicates the same through the royal blue throat chakra. This combination is a bit like a double threat, but it’s a good one.

Some of the Grail Principles have a chakra twin, like this one, and that makes the combination more powerful… let me dissect them for you:

I AM Truth sets out an affirmation of acknowledgment of who you are and what feels right to you in your current state of evolution and from your current perspective. Though many people share similar beliefs, no two are ever exactly concurrent, simply because truth is viewed through and coloured by the eyes of experience and no two beings will ever have the same view. That being said, what’s true for you today may be transformed tomorrow by the introduction of new information… that’s why I like to add in a proviso with Principle 4 that says “I reserve the right to evolve.”

The throat chakra is the centre for communication and co-creation. When something is spoken it begins to take form because it’s moving from the realms of a private thought or idea and into the public domain. This goes for the written word too. Words are magic spells that can be used to harm or to heal, to create or to destroy and when engaging the throat chakra it should be done with caution and compassion….

But, in order to fully embrace this weeks oracle combination it should done without artifice, with absolute honesty.

Who you are, who you are willing to be, how you wish to be portrayed and what you want to be understood this week deserves nothing less than your truth. It’s a scary prospect putting it out there. Others may not agree, they may attempt to discredit you, they may attempt to claim your truth to be incorrect or even claim it as their own as has happened to me in the last few weeks…. but the facts remain the same: you have nothing to prove, nobody to convince and everything to gain by speaking out.

It’s worth noting that this coming week’s new moon in Aries is the first of the zodiac year and portends new beginnings and clean slates, but with Venus still in retrograde those new beginnings could have you in relationship reboot as you are presented with an ex who appears on the surface to have transformed from a sinner to a saint. With this combination make sure you are hearing truth from another before you fall for any bullshit. Though evolution of truth is high on the agenda and new understanding is possible, history and actions shouldn’t be ignored. Your truth has to override any proposition until evidence and corroboration is given.

Protection can be sought from Archangel Michael just by asking, and he will wrap you in his royal blue cloak, guide you towards safety and help you choose your words and actions wisely and for everyone’s highest good.

Have an open and honest week… x

For The Weekend – Learning The Art Of Forgiveness

I’ve travelled to hell and back over the course of this week. It was a most illuminating journey. Taking a small group through a higher ascension training last Sunday, I was allowed by spirit to see for the first time how many of the 7 gates I’d passed through (9 in some teachings), on the way to my own personal hell. And then shown how easily I could climb through the golden gates in the other direction by learning the art of forgiveness.

Principle 3: I AM Human, is the way home to redemption.

This is not a biblical dissemination of sinful behaviour, on the contrary, it’s about the pieces of ourselves that we trade for our vision of what will fill the emptiness we feel when disconnected from our own higher power. The gates include self-transgressions like loss of self-respect, self-worth, humiliation, degradation etc. and we rarely see the outward effects when we are mesmerized by the end goal… that thing that we want, in effect would never lead us into compromising our own integrity if it was ever actually worth having.

The first gate on the way to redemption is acceptance. Also the first step on the way to forgiveness. Acceptance is a state of surrender to what is… it’s the end of the slippery slope. Here you stop struggling and look into the mirror of your life, which is reflected in your surroundings and tangible so-called reality, but you take a look with humility and reverence. I say humility because you must claim ultimate responsibility, and reverence because although you may not enjoy what you see, the awesome power it took to build this reality is a power that flows through you… you have God within you and you can use it to create miracles too.

Now comes the hard part: turn your face to the heavens and away from what was leading you into hell. You may have been stripped naked little by little at every gate you passed through but God created you naked and as you realise that is where you are heading once again, He can wash you clean.

That did end up sounding quite biblical didn’t it?

Let me put it another way… you were born naked, screaming, shitting, pissing and puking and the world looked on and said “Ahhh how beautiful.” Consider this moment, no matter how much crap you appear to be covered in, to be another crack at the great game. Acceptance will lead you to responsibility, responsibility will guide you back to empowerment, empowerment to empathy, empathy to forgiveness and forgiveness will lead to liberation and to love.

Forgive yourself first, forgive those who opened the gates, forgive those who attempted to strip you naked and sully your innocent soul, forgive those who watched you fall, forgive those who laughed at your pain and then finally smile gently with compassion as you watch and wait for them to come to a place of acceptance that in order to open the gates they too had to be standing knee deep in the shit.

Help them out when they ask. That’s what the gates of heaven demand.

This weekend, ask yourself how many gates you’ve passed through? Meditate with the Sumarian Goddess Ishtar, she will help you do a fearless assessment of what you blindly gave up for your goal.

Tiptoe On A Knife Edge

Balance is in full focus today as we arrive at the Spring Equinox (autumn if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere) that seemed to creep up on us whilst we were occupied with everything and nothing. One of two points in the calendar where the light and the darkness share precisely the same amount of moments and we pivot towards a new dominance. As we tiptoe on a knife edge seasonally, so too do we have an emotional choice to make… do we favour the darkness or the light.

The oracle combination I pulled at the weekend mirrored this shift from healthy exploration into potential addition and sets the scene for this post. Though it appears at first glance to have a sinister undertone it is in fact an invitation to understand that within you exists that point of perfect balance, liminal space, neither light nor dark, just sublime equilibrium, a pause between breaths, when you are neither one thing nor the other and power runs through you without resistance or hindrance… and then trust, faith, belief and innocence give way to fear on this knife edge… fear of falling.

When you fear something you create it.

Where you had balance you resorted to your conditioned state of believing that you needed something to maintain it, that someone might try to take it from you and you must protect it. And in that moment you veer to the left or to the right and the sharp line you were treading begins to wobble as you flail about trying to regain your centre but falling at this stage is inevitable… just as surely as tomorrow the light, the daylight hours will gain ground in the north and the darkness or night will take back dominion over the south.

It’s a subtle shift, a tilt you may not notice at first, but opposing forces must continue to circle around each other so that the elaborate game of life goes on.

Take time to honour and notice the shift within. Whatever state you are moving from or to emotionally, physically, intellectually, geographically… what ever area of your personal experience is evolving, observe, respect and bless this point of transition.

Take a moment today to assess where you’re at. Don’t panic, don’t struggle, balance will be restored naturally when you relax and trust that you are exactly where you need to be. Principle 2: I AM Detached will help you stay present with what is and Principle 7: I AM Open-Hearted allows giving and receiving in equal measure… or in other words: perfect balance.

Saturday Oracle – Too Much Of A Good Thing

Is it possible to have too much of a good thing?

After last week’s oracle encouraged us to embrace the wild side, this week’s combination seems a little concerned that we might just go from indulgence to over-indulgence to compulsive and addictive negative behaviours.

Principle 3: I AM Human teams up with the bright yellow solar plexus to bring us a bit of a dual message here: on the one hand there’s the addiction to potential self-abuse which I’ll come to in a moment and on the other, there’s the underlying reason for it… failed expectations.

The solar plexus is the seat of personal power and the house of the ego. When it takes a metaphorical beating it seeks to self-sooth and suppress that feeling. People take to all sorts of numbing techniques to achieve this from overeating, shopaholism, alcoholism and drug abuse to name but a few… what start out as a fun time, a treat or an indulgence, when taken to the extreme, become a dangerous spiral towards self-destruction.

As this week opens, so too do potential reminders of personal failure and disappointment that will, while you’re attempting to escape from or forget, have you racing towards the distractions, that you hope will fill the gaping hole that seems to be forming in the pit of your stomach.

There is a way back to balance and it begins with recognising your patterns. Principle 3: I AM Human, is a key reminder of the need for forgiveness, first and foremost of self. When you acknowledge that you are human and therefore perfectly imperfect, you give yourself permission to let go of the self punishment. Forgiveness is not an ideal its a healing aspect of grace, but it takes the courage to first admit that some things are out of your control… like the past… like the future… There is a much bigger energy at play than the human aspect of each of us as individuals and when we bow to this Higher Power, admit to the pain we’ve been until now trying to numb and allow this all encompassing energy fully into our lives, Spirit fills the spaces with pure light and love and there is nothing left to try to fill….

This is the true meaning of an overflowing cup… (not the one you filled with calories or worse as a substitute).

Let God in.

For Being Wild And Free

When I posted the oracle reading at the weekend for this week, you might remember a mere mention of St Patrick’s Day and the Fae Goddess Aine, sometimes associated with or as the Faerie Queen Dana. Legends vary about the queen of the faeries but one legend has it that St Patrick was revered for having banished the Tuatha De Danan (Children of Dana or little people) from Ireland. Aine, instead of actually leaving, simply raised her vibration and made herself and her kin folk invisible to avoid conflict. All this because Paddy and his fellow invaders feared the Tuatha for being wild and free. The Fae found a way to co-exist anyway.

Of course the validity of the stories are questionable and I’m not really worried about the source of a good yarn, perhaps spun by a leprechaun of Tuatha origin who had one too many pints of Guinness before planting a smackeroony on the Blarney Stone… The point is thus: some old geezer with a stilted idea of what is acceptable behaviour decided to demonize a whole race because he wasn’t prepared to learn more about what it means to allow everyone to breathe their own uniqueness.

Now in other legends, Aine’s sexuality is suppressed and even oppressed by an older man who wants to control her… The story is one of abuse and not at all pleasant so I won’t elaborate but all in all the moral is: conform, reform, perform… and do it by someone else’s rules and expectations or be punished/banished.

The Wholly Grail’s Principles 1 through 7 all have a universal clause, what this means is although each Principle begins with the words “I AM” it applies to all, so whilst I AM, YOU ARE too. The problems really kick in when you lose sight of the fact that “you are.” When you feel less than, it is human nature to try to diminish or disempower another in order to level the field or to feel better about one’s own inadequacies. In truth the only power you ever need is in abundant supply and readily available from Source. That wild and free, pure innocence of knowing whose child you actually are, to the untrained eye can look like rebellion, disruption, non-conformist, far-too-lairy-for-words, who-do-you-think-you-are, I’ll-pull-you-down-a-peg-or-two shenanigans and strikes ¬†fear in those who wish to control it.

Now, as you watch or participate in this St Patrick’s Day festivities, count how many leprechauns and leprechaun hats you see… The Tuatha had the last laugh because they successfully integrated themselves into the long forgotten and rewritten story as the hero of the hour… Aine/Dana left a legacy of magic and luck that means when the world celebrates on March 17th, it has nothing to do with a mean fella banishing the Fae Folk from the Emerald Isle and everything to do with embracing the wild pure spirit (and the black stuff).

Just as I finished writing this, my faerie guide Harvey, (short for Harv ‘a Mo, because he’s always trying to get me to think before I act… ha!) funnily enough also a ginger bearded little Irish dude in a green top hat, started telling me a joke…. “Did you hear the one about the Irish Saint who thought he defeated the Faerie Goddess…”

What was I waffling on about?

Reintegration Of Soul Skills

I’m focusing this week on being whole and more to the point, presenting the whole self as you flow through life. The Wholly Grail’s Principle 4: I AM Truth is about exactly that. Instead of hiding the truth of who you are, instead of suppressing the parts of yourself that you believe may be judged and deemed to be unacceptable, now is the time to step into your full power and claim your own unique gifts as Divine. It’s time to begin the reintegration of soul skills.

I’m an energy healer, a spiritual teacher, a mentor, a counsellor, a coach… but I’m also an intuitive, an angel channel, a professional tarot consultant, basically a conduit for Source. I’ve had many of those skills on a back burner for the last 5 years though because the angels asked me to create something new: The Wholly Grail. The clue is in the title, it’s a set of Principles aimed at stripping away the layers that prevent you from recognising your wholeness (it’s not misspelled as some may have you believe). The Grail holds the truth that lies beyond the veil, the simple truth, but my truth is that I had to go on a hero’s journey through the veil to find what was never hidden in the first place… and that journey consisted of years of psychic study and training.

Being a channel for angels is my greatest gift and when they asked me to begin teaching, not about them but about the message they bring, I obliged like a good student. Moving into a world where being a spiritual counsellor, teacher, healer and mentor is taken far more seriously than talking to and receiving messages from the invisible realms meant that most of what I did, most of who I AM remained silent, waiting to be reclaimed and rejoiced at.

The Grail wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for my gifts. There are those who will scoff, those who will disbelieve, those who will fall away… my wisdom will pale for those who cannot reconcile it’s source (Source)… but ultimately by embracing all of who I AM, I have no need to prove my worth or the validity of my work. It speaks for itself. And as I’m fast approaching the next phase of my work you will notice it begin to morph to encompass more of my true nature.

I’m off this evening to do a live event for charity for the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book… where I’ll be showcasing one or two of my psychic spooky skills. I hope you have the courage to claim yours this week… it’s time.

Are You Sure It Isn’t Better The Devil You Know?

During the winter months I become somewhat reclusive, seeming to believe that venturing out after dark might have me turning into a pumpkin, but being a spring baby, when the night’s start to get lighter and the colourful spring bulbs come out to say hello, I assume it’s safe to venture out into the world again, alive with fresh spirit and a new sense of curiosity. It doesn’t come without reservation though, there’s always a nagging voice whispering “Are you sure it isn’t better the devil you know?”

Having gone off to the ballet last night to soak up something beautiful and be inspired by the powerful, graceful movement, I was reminded how very often action precedes motivation and not the other way around and how in order to illicit change you must act even if you are unsure whether the new order will outshine the old way.

Motivation is in my opinion a product of momentum: once you start you’re on a roll and its easier to keep going, keep doing whatever is necessary to break free of old familiar habits that are not necessarily comfortable, after all why would we use the term “better the devil you know” if it was pleasant or fulfilling. Remaining where you are or were is detrimental to growth, be it a job that doesn’t challenge you, a relationship that has run its course or become less than satisfactory, or anything that you now do simply as habit rather than as a conscious act of self-expression. But it isn’t easy taking that first step back into alignment with the essence of regeneration once you stop.

Life undulates. We go through seasons of our own, inspired powerful motion, slows to complete rest and back again on a fairly regular basis and when we take advantage of the divine prompting and opportunities we can optimize these swings to form a balanced and beautiful life… just like ballet: leaps and turns interspersed with perfect poise.

In The Wholly Grail, Principle 2: I AM Detached is all about Divine timing and being present to what is to optimise the current energy stream creating a balanced, joyful life. It helps you to disentangle yourself from potential outcomes and as yet unwritten consequences, previous experiences and repeating history, so that your whole being is unified in the now to push through inertia to grand jete onto the next act of your own glorious ballet.

If you’re feeling stuck and unable rise to the gentle nudges of the universe telling you that there is so much more to this recital than the current continuous turn, then call upon Archangel Metatron to get you organised and productive. In the angel world he is your celestial mentor and personal trainer. Expect things to speed up when he’s around and clarity to arrive followed quickly by the obvious next right action. Metatron makes procrastination a dirty word and enthusiasm a given.

Here’s wishing you a delicious and deliberate Monday!

Saturday Oracle – Warrior Priestess

As the Full Moon in Virgo takes centre stage this weekend so too does the emergence of the inner goddess, the warrior priestess, and with her a full blown sexual revolution.

Principle 3: I AM Human takes full ownership of the orange sacral chakra in this combination and as a result the shadow aspect of hidden desire is brought fully into the light celebrating the physical human self in sacred sexuality. Playful and every-so-slightly naughty Fae energy is driving this full week leading up to St Patrick’s Day next weekend, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the Goddess Aine is asserting herself wherever she can (but more about that later in the week).

For too long femininity has been required to fit into a ¬†neat little box, remaining demure, weak, downtrodden and conforming to the social expectations of “stand like this” “present yourself like that” and any attempt to claim one’s full powerful has been met with disdain and often shame… no more.

As this sweeping energy gathers momentum it brings with it a continuing theme of innocence, not in the childlike sense but more aligned with a lack of contrivance. Owning your power, your gorgeous, spectacular, sexy self is not about suppressing anyone else, it has nothing to do with the emasculation of our men folk, on the contrary, those men who truly own their own inner god/warrior priest (which this energy also anticipates) are not threatened by the surge of power shown by their women, they are positively inspired and turned on by it.

It’s time to let go of the constraints and revel in your humanity. Rising to this call to unleash your shadow can make you irresistible as long as you don’t try to be all things to all people… some won’t like you being so overt, some will attempt to put you back in your box… forgive yourself for being afraid up until this point, forgive them for being afraid of what comes next and let loose the kundalini rising within.

This week is not about being irresponsible, it’s about being powerful and allowing the fun version of you that hasn’t been seen in a long time to get up and get down… after all, she’s magical.

Unleash your warrior priestess and reclaim all of who you are.
